We stayed for 8 nights at the Holiday Inn in a resort facing room with a family of 4. The room was very nice and tidy. Good beds and linen. The pillows were a bit soft for our liking but not bad. The room was cleaned every day. The food in the restaurant was great. Good variety and it tasted very good. The Hawaiian pizza was our favourite! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were really surprised at how nice all people in Vanuatu were. We travelled with a rental car and got to see a lot of the people and they are amazingly friendly. We will definitely go back to Vanuatu in the future.

Definitely stay in Vanuatu at the Holiday Inn, but maybe don't stay here just yet. In the room/resort there is no compendium, map or information about facilities in the resort so we wandered around and found things ourselves. The activities list in the activities hut looks to be from pre-covid times as we haven't seen any of those activities happening whilst we've been here. On rainy days we borrowed board games from the kids club for something to do. Our other travel company didn't tell us that you can't swim in the lagoon as its riddled with E Coli and unsafe to do so until at least 2026 but both pools are still functioning and clean. The kids pool is so much fun for the littlies and has been cleaned whilst weve stayed. You have to bring plenty of sunscreen as the pools do not have much shade and the sun in Vanuatu bites hard. Resort breakfast is good with the egg/omelette station and barista coffees the real stand outs. Breakfast staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming, as is Helen at reception. Dinner food is okay, similar to a pub menu in Australia and no signs of local cuisine unless you attend the Melanesian feast night (Tuesday) with cultural dance and song (food is fantastic but entertainment does tend to drag on). The curry buffet and fire show (Thursday) has fantastic tasty food and the show is great for the family. There's been some people visiting from Holiday Inn corporate this week and we've seen more cleaning and organising from the staff than ever.

We stayed at bungalows and loved the room, balcony and view to the breathtaking lagoon. Staff are amazing and very helpful. There are lots of families with kids in the main building and lobby which was my only problem. I would say this place is ideal for families, rather than couples or solo travellers

The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The Resort was clean but there were a number of things that weren't working or needed repairs.I feel that they weren't prepared after COVID lockdown to receive guests as some staff didn't know what to do.The lagoon and golf course which are special to the property unfortunately both could not be used. There were quite a few guests commented about no shuttle service even though the Resort has 3 minivans available.

We were coming for meetings with the other missionaries in the area and our meetings were being hosted at the hotel. We’d been told how epic the hotel was so we paid to stay there vs staying somewhere less expensive. It was alright. We were greeted with a traditional custom greeting when we arrived which was nice. However, their website says they have a free airport shuttle, but when we called to ask they said we’d just have to get a taxi. Our room was ok but a little dated. Our friend’s room had the door handle fall off. They were doing a lot of repairs and construction while we were there. The food was ok. The staff was nice. There was an issue at checkout however. You have to put a 30,000vt hold on your credit card on arrival and are told you can use it for meals or whatever you need to and the balance will be returned at checkout. When I asked about that at checkout they said no that was not how it was done, asked for my cc again, and charged me a 4% cc service fee. The pools were nice for the kids and they have kayaks and sailboats and things like that, but I’m glad we were able to get the cheaper price on this website.

Good Value for money. The staff are friendly and the hotel is located up high in the hills on a nice garden setting. If you are looking for a clean hotel to stay in Port Villa this is a good one but you really need a car to explore the island for nicer beaches about 1 hour car ride away. Also getting into town is 150 vatu (1.50$) on the bus. I think this hotel would really benefit from having a city shuttle. The rooms on the ground floor are pretty dark but we had a nice bright room on the top floor . The pool was nice and overall good experience
