Called a day before arrival and asked if early check-in at 7am was possible, since we were flying all night and arriving at Cairns airport 6am... Was told that if I would accept a downgrade from the (booked and paid) Junior Suite to a standard double room they would let us check in at 7am. We arrived at 7am, tired after a very long flight, now early check-in was not possible - and they could not tell us when check-in was possible at all. The Receptionist did not care at all - and had no interest in doing anything to get us a room, did not even try. I have never been treated like that at a Hotel before. After many polite attempts, we finally got a room at 11 am - after 4 hous wait, when I called the main number and asked for help. Worst hotel experience ever (have been traveling for 30 years - professionally and privat)

Nice room, comfortable beds and pillows, great breakfast. The hotel parking was often full but fortunately you have enough free parking spots along the street close to the hotel. Quite far from the center of Cairns (25 min walking), but not too far from the airport (8 min by car). No express check-out procedure, Receptionists not that empathetic.

Convenient for airport but long walk to city and harbour area..Air conditioning was very cold and unable to be controlled by us. Also suggest extra blankets should be stored in the room as other hotels do.

Its quite a distance from the CBD so most things you would want or need are provided in-house. Surrounding area is a little sketchy and remote at night though there is an excellent Thai Restaurant named Finn Finn opposite. Less than 10 minutes in taxi to Airport, which also means a bit of aircraft noise at times. Staff are very professional and helpful. Overall, a brief but pleasant stay.

This hotel was amazing! I had an incredibly spacious room with a huge balcony overlooking the ocean. Everything was clean and quiet and I slept amazing on the comfy bed and pillows. The staff were also helpful in getting me a taxi for a very early 6am flight. My only complaint was that there did not seem to be a microwave for guests to use, so I had to eat cold leftovers for dinner one night.

The hotel and the staff are nice. The shuttle bus services from hotel to the night market is pretty sweet. We are happy to enjoy the sea view from the room. Very nice!

Overall, pleasant experience. Appreciated the courtesy shuttle going to/from Cairns Business District. Beautiful inner garden. Self service Laundry (washer/ dryer) available. Comfortable bed. Housekeeping and staffs were mostly accommodating. - Limited/ expensive dining option (restaurant pricey). Location 30 min away (walk) from center of Cairns downtown. Housekeeping will not clean room until 3PM. **Room needs renovation- Sofa and chair cushions in the room were dirty/stained, curtains torn, air duct filled with dust… which gave the room an unkept feel.
