Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport, an IHG Hotel

Very convenient hotel within walking distance to the airport. Staff was very friendly. Bar and restaurant were also very good. I mistakenly booked a room for a day before our actual arrival. I didn't realize I had done this until I received an email from Hotels.com asking how my check in went. I immediately reached out to the hotel via email to explain what happened. I asked that they move the reservation to the next day. In the meantime I went ahead and booked a room for the next day to ensure we had somewhere to stay. When I checked in I hadn't heard back from the hotel, so I didn't mention it to the hotel staff because I figured it was my error and I would just be out of luck. The next day I received an email thanking me for booking the correct day and informing me that they had submitted a refund for the incorrect day. They didn't have to do that and I greatly appreciate it. That's what you call customer service!

Perfect for the airport and service was excellent

Good affordable option for airport accommodation. Clean, comfortable and check-in staff were really lovely, efficient and helpful. Quick walk to McDonald's and the service station for food and drinks or can walk a little further to the airport terminal.

Stayed one night prior to flight. Check in speedy and pleasant. Room good, bed comfy, all amenities as expected. Dinner and drinks were good standard and staff very helpful. Major works at the airport creates a long walk but there is a shuttle if required. Overall much better value than higher priced competiton.

The main purpose of going to a hotel close to the airport is the convenience if your visit is governed by airport access. This hotel is excellent in this regard. The inconvenience is the access to the city and all the attractions there.

Friendly staff on arrival, room was very clean and a comfortable bed. Tea making facilities available. Shuttle service to and from hotel as required a great service. The hotel is only a few minutes from the airport, within walking distance.. Breakfast is available. Bathroom facilities great, plenty of hot water and fresh towels.

Needed a room at the airport for family overnight. Reasonably priced. Clean comfortable and for me the bed comfort and quiet AC are a must. This hotel had comfortable beds and quiet AC. Hotel is older but this is a small issue. Quiet, staff friendly and very helpful. Only suggestion is to have softer pillows. Overall would recommend.
