Royal Palm Hotel

The Royal Palm is not one hotel, but several buildings scattered around town; when you check in you are sent down the street! Ours was recently refreshed, very spacious and clean and the location was dead center of town steps from Valentines. The island power went out twice and they didn't have a generator and the island is quite pricy, so this is probably the best value there. You can walk to the ferry and it is $5 each and the airport taxi also $5 each.

The hotel was exactly what we needed - a comfortable place to stay on Harbour Island. We loved having the fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker available. The staff was SO helpful. We had an issue with a phone that got left in a cab and they called around for us, had the phone dropped at the office after it was located. The staff coordinated a golf cart rental for us as well! I truly cannot say enough about the exceptional service! Should I ever travel to Harbour Island again, the Royal Palm is where I will stay!
