Sandman Signature Ottawa Airport Hotel

First time at Sandman near Ottawa airport. Was not disappointed, very nice and well maintained hotel with lots of amenities nearby. May become my go to on trips through Ottawa.

Clean, room was in good condition, free shuttle to the airport. Great experience

The shuttle service was really good and the hotel room was very clean.

Have stayed at this property numerous times now . I always find the stafff and service to be excellent . The room was exactly what I needed . A clean quiet room with many dining options nearby. Very conveniently located by the Ottawa Airport with a shuttle available . Parking (self) is always available and safe. .Pricing ( I used Expedia) was very affordable. Very good value . I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again soon.

Wonderful staff member checked me in and the room was very nice - the location is conveniently near the airport and the shuttle was very handy for my early morning flight. It’s right next to a shopping plaza and highway though so don’t expect nature or gardens etc.

quite clean and modern. good parking. hard time understanding much of the staff since english is not a first language.

This is the second time I've stayed at this motel exclusively for the shuttle service to the airport. Both times when I called to be picked up, the shuttle did not come. Both times I was informed it did and had left again. After waiting 45 minutes for the shuttle to come, I was instructed to use a Blue Line Taxi and they would pay the fare. Unacceptable service IMHO. Secondly, I asked for a 3 AM wake up call and did not get one. Lastly, I booked my room through the Expedia app and both times I was given a handicapped room without a tub. I look forward to a long soak after flying all day. I feel like I was treated differently because of how I booked the room. When you are paying almost $200 American dollars a night, you expect more than Hotel 6 type of service.
