The room was disappointing. I felt completely uncomfortable that there was a glass sliding door right on the parking lot - didn't feel safe at all. The lighting in the room was poor at best; no light on one side of the bed so couldn't read. The lighting in the bathroom was also very poor and made it hard to get ready in the morning. We don't have any reason to return to Quebec but if we do we will stay elsewhere.

We booked Lhotel Quebec on a whim when our travel plans didn't work out. I was traveling with my two girls (7 and 5). We wanted something close to the airport with a great pool. We definitely got that and so much more. The staff were great, the rooms were clean and modern and comfortable. The pool was a ton of fun. Also the food in the hotel restaurant I thought was going to be a bummer -- it was honestly really good. We enjoyed both dinner there (the burgers and nachos were awesome) and breakfast (also very tasty). Would definitely stay here again if traveling with kids. Looking for something convenient, fun, easy and very good value look no further.

Our stay was average. We noticed that the room was dusty especially around the TV. We booked the kitchenette and their can opener was terrible and there were no cereal bowls. They had tiny desert bowls or a large mixing bowl. We used the mixing bowl to eat our cereal in and washed it out between uses. Our chief complaint was when booking on Expedia we had two adults and two 15 year old children (this property considers 17 and under at time of travel to be children) we got charged a $100 extra guest fee. We stayed for 2 nights. When we got to the hotel they charged us the same amount but didn’t notice until we got home that the fee for extra children was only $15 each. We called the hotel and they emailed us a copy of the invoice which we did not receive at check in or check out of the breakdown in cost and the invoice showed that they had raised the rate of the room by $50 per night but did not “charge us the $100 extra guest fee” which they did by raising the cost of the room by $50 per night. We called and the staff was unwilling to reimburse us for any over payment.

The property was ok . You rooms were very clean but you can tell the were old , the mirrors in the bathroom around were rusted , the floors moved int eh rooms . So you could tell the needed an upgrade . The beds you could tell the were old or 2beds put together , not very comfy . They need to add more handicap parking in the front and just on the side of the building as we could not get any parking , vehicles were actually parked in the handicap parking spots as you could not tell the color Was so faded away . The hotel probably makes money and the up keeps should be done . But I would come back . The staff extremely nice , the restaurant very nice , food was good . I would recommend this hotel and I would come back . The pool could use a slide for the kids . Or something fun . Overall good experience.

Accomodations were great. Lots of space and the murphy beds were perfect. The pool area was lovely. Lots of entertainment for kids. Veey convenient to have the restaurant on site. Good food and service. The hotel is easy to navigate from into Old Quebec. A pretty drive along the St. Lawrence. Lots of free parking available at the hotel.

Checking in was a breeze, and I appreciated the convenience of that. However, during my stay, I did notice an unpleasant odor in the hotel, which was a bit off-putting. On the positive side, I found the parking facilities to be excellent, offering both covered and open parking options. The room I stayed in was equipped with two Murphy beds.

The stay was great. Rooms were comfortable. Nice and clean. Some construction going on in the pool area. Nice garden balcony on the room. We were only spending the night close to the airport after a cruise. Very satisfied. Food in the restaurant was good.

Very appreciated the access to pool early in the morning, free parking, possible vegetarian option at the restaurant (hoping vegan option available in the future) and room super clean and comfortable. Employees courteous and friendly

Lots of things for the kids to do, pool was crowded. Construction around the hotel was inconvenient when we were arriving. The room was smaller then we thought, we booked with Expedia for our room, we had 3 others travelling with us so we booked a 3 queen bed. When we arrived we were charged over 200.00 more, would have been nice to know this when I called the hotel to ask about the extra people. Took us over two hours at bed time to receive extra pillow and a blankets for extra persons, the service was slow, the hotel was cleanish, the price was twice the amount then what i booked on Expedia. Probably won’t stay at this hotel again, but will be back to visit beautiful Quebec City.

The employees were professional and nice. The parking is free and easy to find a spot.
