During checkout we were informed of fees we had to pay. There were resort fees because it was summer and parking fees. Neither were communicated during the reservation process or at check-in. When we asked why this wasn’t part of what we were charged by Expedia, they said it was because they wanted to explain in person the amenities available in person at checkout. AT CHECKOUT! This made the whole stay terrible. Not to mention there was mold in the shower.

This was my second stay at this property and it did not fail to impress. The rooms are very nice and I love the restaurant. I am fortunate enough to travel around the world and they had one of the best Beef Short Ribs I have ever had. PS...they have a very nice wine selection to compliment any meal.

Service is impeccable as always. Food is amazing at the restaurant. Rooms are cozy. Just found that room light is terrible ; especially with traveling for business and working late & early.

The place is very nice and clean. The staff was perfect. The smell is very pleasant throughout the hotel. Very relaxing site while being close to the city. We were in the Cocooning section. The room really needs a light refresh. No alarm clock in the room. Dark despite the lights being on. No USB outlet for charging electronic devices. The pillows were very uncomfortable (too big and hard or too thick), mattress uneven and sagging, bed creaked with the slightest movement and the base did not feel sturdy. Poorly soundproofed bedroom door, does not cut out the noise from the corridor. Bath/shower but we have to keep the shower in hand because no wall support. Thick, absorbent towels. Very pleasant home game body products. $20 fee for parking.

This hotel is in a lovely location and buildings are beatiful but some awful service and overcharges made the stay very unpleasant. My booking quote for 2 rooms was CA$290.59 per room, they deducted the equivalent of CA$573.61 per room as well as a $25 resort fee that was itemized in the original quote. Weeks of requesting a credit have not elicited any suitable response, they just don't care. My room had dirty garbage cans with the previous guests leftover food in them, pretty disgusting for a 5 star hotel. In addition, service at check in was very slow and very little assistance with concierge requirements such as taxis etc. NOT AT ALL SATISFIED.

I don’t know how this is a 5-star hotel.. they charge $25 per day resort fee even if you don’t use their amenities, and they don’t really service your room. The room was spacious with very comfortable bedding, coffee machine on the nightstand was a bit confusing but still acceptable. Their shower really got me. Consider all the 2-star motels and Airbnbs I stayed in the past month, who’s gonna believe the 5 star hotel was the only one that didn’t have stable hot water for shower? It was ice cold to burning hot every second. There is one small elevator on the side of the building so I had to walk quite far to get to my room on the 3rd floor with 2 big suitcases. Be aware if you’re traveling with heavy luggage. Overall it is not worth what I paid for. Will not be returning for sure.

At check in they couldn’t find my reservation and then proceeded to charge me for My two nights - which was already pre payed . I had no idea there were so many hidden charges for parking and resort fee . Ridiculous! It’s a hotel with a pool . And no a fantastic one at that . The hotel is fine , nothing grand and definitely not a five star .

No room service. Coffee was only provided for 1 morning, so 2nd day we had to ask for coffee pods and cups. Upon asking the staff, were told that they rely on "people asking if they need something." I was tempted to ask whether they prefer restaurants that provide utensils with meals or expect customers to ask... Also: parking is $20 per night - Expedia keeps this info under the wraps, as do hotel clerks. It is in the fine print somewhere, so all objections are futile. On bedding: beds are listed as king - in reality they are double, not even queen. Mattress is ridiculously soft, no support whatsoever.

Hidden fees. Ridiculous 25$ fee for things we don’t use, and exaggerated 20$ parking fee. These fees should be included..very disappointed
