Overview

The Jag Boutique Hotel is a stylish hotel in St. John's, frequently praised for its unique design, comfortable rooms, and excellent customer service. Guests consistently highlight the welcoming and helpful staff, the delicious food at the Exile Restaurant and Lounge, and the overall cool and comfortable atmosphere. However, a significant drawback is the limited on-site parking, with guests often having to use valet parking or find street parking nearby, sometimes at a distance. Construction in the surrounding area can also impact parking availability and create noise disturbances.

Desk staff were very helpful and valet drivers are very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and I did eat at the restaurant for breakfast and staff were also very nice. Parking is a small hiccup with this place. But I was able to use the valet parking which wasn’t a lot of money and made my stay even easier. I walked to waterfront and other restaurants from this hotel. Location is good.

The check in was welcoming and warm. After a long day of travelling it was great to have the opportunity to wind down with the experience at Exile Restaurant and Lounge. Fabulous food. Fabulous service. Fabulous stay.

Everything was great. Staff was prompt and friendly. Easy access to everything downtown. Hotel was quiet. Only issue I guess would be parking .. $15 for valet / night unless you manage to find some of the limited spots out the front door of the hotel.

Our first overnight at JAG, it won't be our last. Check-in was a breeze and the desk staff were very helpful re: parking nearby (we were too late to secure valet parking, which fills up fast, but they knew all the nearby options). Hotel itself is very cool, and the Exile restaurant/bar on the ground floor is awesome. Dinner was AMAZING, a little pricey but TOTALLY worth it. The pad thai brussels are incredible, a must-try. Breakfast the next morning was less astounding in its awesomeness but still pretty good, and service was great. It's also within walking distance of so many restaurants, bars, shops and other options. Checkout was OK, both staff at the desk were on the phone for a while and when the person we were waiting for got off the phone, we made eye contact but she walked away without acknowledging us and it was several more minutes before the other staffer got off the phone and finally checked us out in 10 seconds. But it's no big deal, otherwise our stay was fantastic and we'd definitely go again.

We always like to stay at the Jag for our yearly trips to Nfld. Service is always amazing! This time around we flew in at 6:30am, and Stephanie at the front desk was able to get us an early check in which was absolutely above and beyond!! We really appreciated that after a long overnight flight!

The hotel is very cool… we’ve stayed here four times. The rock ‘n’ roll theme is fun. Rooms are large and very clean. We had housekeeping service every day. The valets were very helpful, as parking was very limited due to construction. Overall, an excellent experience.

Great hotel and friendly staff. The hotel does not have on-site parking but they offer valet parking for $15/day. I was told they are working to complete a big expansion nextdoor which would include more hotel and music amenities. Looking forward to returning!

Construction going on around the building and parking was horrible. Valet for underground not available. Had to park up behind irving station. Shady characters hanging around, and i was worried about my rental car.
