Decent for the price. No beach really. They have GoPros, shuttle, beach chairs, & bikes to use for free, which was really great. Would stay here again on a budget.

What I liked:
The hotel is located in a location convenient for my purposes. The staff was friendly, the facilities clean. Free parking.
What I did not like:
1. My room was noisy: the A/C unit and the mini fridge together conspired to ensure that the room was a little noisier than I would have liked.
2. I was in a wheelchair accessible room (no, I did not request it) and it was frustrating post shower to have a wet bathroom floor. I mean the entire bathroom floor: toilet and face sink area was soaked. For guests allocated to a wheel chair accessible room, please provide extra floor towels to mop up the water that will inevitable end up on the floor after taking a bath.
3. The difficulty in obtaining a receipt after my stay. I checked out the hotel on Saturday June 22nd and to date, I am still awaiting the receipt the persons at the front desk assured me they would email to me. Yes, I have emailed/contacted them to remind them; so far nothing.

Itโs not on the beach and they donโt have beach chairs for Hampton guests. The token system to do laundry is ridiculous given the resort fees I paid. And they really need a free shuttle at least to and from the airport. I also got ripped off by a cab driver ordered by the hotel for the first time ever in my 5 trips to The Cayman Islands.

Solid mid-budget place to stay in Grand Cayman. Pool was nice, shuttles to nicer parts of beach for dinner/drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant was great!

Allowed us to check in a bit early after an early arrival, really good restaurant in back and around. Beach area is a bit small but Governors โwhich has a free shuttle is easy to accessโ.

We stayed for 7 days. All the staff - front desk, cleaning, and especially the breakfast staff were "over the top". The breakfast provided was excellent, the eating area very nice. One of the best stays we've had anyplace in the world we've travelled. Highly recommend this hotel

Rooms are good sized and plenty of parking right outside front door. Also, one of best restaurants on the island, Miss Pipers, is right outside the back door. Staff was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, a great stay.
Pros: All staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere where every staff member has a ready smile.
Breakfast was also great, waffles, fresh scrambled eggs, a sausage item (links or Italian sausage bites), bacon, and potatoes. I've stayed at some Hamptons where the breakfast is pretty paltry, this was not the case. 5 stars for the breakfast!
Decent location, we were able to walk to many restaurants and the shuttle was a nice benefit, although it didn't go as far as I would like (only up and down 7 mile beach area; won't go up to turtle center or south into George Town).
Lots of outlets for plugging in electronics in our room, that was a plus! Wifi was also good.
Cons: Bathroom could be bigger, especially the shower. It has an open shower concept (which I love), but the splash guard is only 2 feet wide so a ton of water gets on the floor. As much as I love the open shower concept, this size really needs a shower door.
The beach is pretty small (as others have commented). It's also pretty rocky and there's a jagged, rusted chain link pile that is really a hazard. It's great for watching sunsets, but not a good spot for swimming/playing in the water. Better off walking 10min or so north to a great sandy beach.
Overall, highly recommend!

I have traveled the Caribbean & spent crazy amounts of money on hotels like the Westin for 10s of thousands and they pale in comparison to the Hampton. Not because the Hampton is the best kept property or the best beach or the most luxury of things in the room but for the small things that actually matter. The staff were AMAZING! They were friendly, polite, & helpful. You get a breakfast Buffett every morning from 6am till 10am included with your stay and it is a real buffet, eggs, bacon, potato's, waffles, cereal, toast, pastry, sausage, juices, coffee, it is a great way to start every morning in paradise. They included free chairs to take out, bikes to ride, water stations around property, towels at the pool. There is a sand beach with some beach loungers and umbrellas. Not all hotels on 7 mile have any beach front at all because of storm erosion so even though it isn't that big it is still nice to have. They set up A artificial reef close to shore so you can snorkel right of the beach & it was so much fun to just walk out and snorkel ๐ my girlfriend & I stayed 8 days and have 0 things to complain about with this place, honestly 0. WE WILL BE BACK!!!! ๐๐๐ THANK YOU Hampton!
