Sunshine Suites Resort

This is my second stay at Sunshine Suites, in Cayman as a solo traveler for diving. The location is truly perfect. A short walk to many different types of restaurants, very safe, and having access to the Westin across the street is such a great perk and convenience. Hotel is clean and while rooms are a little dated, they are in the process of renovating the entire hotel. Restaurant on site has very good food, friendly and attentive people all around. This place is a gem and I will be back

I am an avid solo traveler and most of the time when I travel to the country I prefer an Airbnb. Decided on a hotel last minute because this was the last-minute trip. This was an excellent choice. It’s an easy drive from the airport, it’s a minute walk across the street to the Westin, where you can enjoy the beach and all the amenities for half the price of a room there. The rooms were clean and the addition of a small kitchen was Clutch. I found that the restaurant food at the hotel was good and the pool was a good place to also relax and do some remote work which I did as well. It was also super convenient to one of the best sushi spots on the island, a small minimart liquor store, and even a spot to get a massage. It is also very convenient for public transportation, which I did for the first time on this trip and was very impressed with its efficiency and low cost. It was also the first time I traveled here without a car and I would definitely stay here again. .

This was a good choice for an overnight stay between flights. The on -site dining is good. But the coffee will take a layer of enamel off your teeth!

It was great Low cost for a solo traveler Felt very safe with cameras and hotel staff Accidentally left valuables out in the open in the room and maid came in without me present - no issues with missing things!!! Awesome!

Great location with wonderful access to beach and restaurants. Easy trip to the airport and other attractions. Rooms equipped with a small kitchen which was helpful.

Great location with small kitchen and access to seven mile beach and Westin amenities. Easy to get around and we rented a car and had no parking issues.

From the minute I walked into the office, until it was time for my airport shuttle pick-up, this staff wasn't good, they were EXCEPTIONAL - going above and beyond to make me, and all guests feel welcomed. It was my first time (but definitely won't be my last) visiting the Cayman Islands. I cannot wait to be back again soon. LOVED Sunshine Suites Resort.

Liked the food. Beautiful restaurant serving personnel (didn't get their names though, sorry). Rooms better than expected although I had seen pictures before arriving at your hotel. Didn't have anything that I didn't like. Can't respond to shopping, transport or easy parking as was there for work and didn't use them.
