My wife and I stayed here between travel days into and out of San Jose. There are restaurants in walking distance (we LOVED Lita) as well as the attached restaurant, both of which are very good. There is also a grocery store across the street. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of the city and enjoy the food and pool here. The room we had was very nice, but not very soundproof, which was the only small negative in our stay. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful; they all spoke English and were patient with our weak Spanish. We would love to come back!

Excellent but expensive restaurant attached. Nice grocery across the street. Rental car and airport shuttles were fabulous! Pool was green and not open. Room was musty with old carpet. Beds not comfortable.

The hotel was clean, the restaurant food was great and the staff were very friendly. They even have 2 resident cats that hang around the property, and they were very sweet. We used the shuttle service to get to the airport, and it only took around 30 min with traffic. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Cute hotel in a great neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious. The internet was fast and the A/C worked well. Its a great location with a very nice grocery store across the street. There is plenty of food places around, including a small outdoor mall area only an easy 10 min walk away. There is also a restaurant and bar onsite.The staff were all extremely kind. The free airport shuttle can be set up the day before and was about an 18 min drive.

Stayed here one night befire our departure. This was close to the airport. Property was beautiful. The room was a bit small and no mini fridge (suited our needs for one night but would not have stayed for longer). No extra charge shuttle service running all day and night. They were able to bring is to the airport at 4am which was great.

We loved this hotel! We started and ended our trip to Costa Rica at La Riviera Hotel. It's a little further than the typical airport chain hotels, but the shuttle service is excellent. The entrance way to check-in is amazing with the hanging orchids! The restaurant is very good and the breakfast that came with our rooms was delicious. Our trip "vote" for Best Coffee was definitely here.

We found the facility to be exceptionally comfortable and clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. (Even at 3am shuttle with fruit boxes)This establishment makes you feel very comfortable and safe. I highly recommend it.

This was a great find. Nice rooms attractive pool and shared areas. Large rooms. The restaurant was delightful, pizza oven with wonderful pizzas, nice small bar. It was great. We had an early flight and received a 4:30am airort ride.

I was just here one night as I was catching a flight out of San Jose the next day. It was perfect! Beautiful view of the city and mountains, great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Plus the shuttle was perfect. The staff waa also really friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this to anyone flying in or out of San Jose!

It's the perfect overnighter for flights in and out of CR. we would definitely go back. Esteban, at the front desk is awesome!
