Excellent stay overall. The travel club folks were annoying, and need to learn that no means no.

Elevator was out of service for 2 days and I am a 65 year old with heart issues and I had to continuously walk up 3 flights of stairs in that humidity

Every single thing inside the property was perfect unfortunately the road to access the property is dangerous, we never left the hotel but during the ride from the airport and to the airport we witnessed 5 accidents. The saddest part involved a dog killed by a car when she was trying to feed her puppies…. Road conditions are terrible

A Mixed Bag Experience at Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort
Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort offers a mixed experience for travelers seeking relaxation and entertainment. The resort boasts stunning decor and a lively ambiance, accompanied by multiple pools and a variety of activities, all facilitated by a friendly staff. Guests can enjoy quality food and drink options amidst the backdrop of lively music and entertainment.
However, the experience is not without its drawbacks. While the spa promises relaxation, some guests may find themselves overwhelmed by pushy sales pitches from spa, excursion and timeshare vendors. Considering we already had our excursions booked before arriving, repeatedly having to decline became a minor nuisance. Also, the promise of a swim-out pool was marred by the inconvenience of dealing with litter and debris from neighboring rooms.
Furthermore, the ambiance is tainted by a persistent sewage smell and a lack of ventilation in the bathrooms, detracting from the overall comfort of the stay. Finally, the tranquility of late hours is disrupted by noise from other guests roaming the halls.
In conclusion, Serenade All Suites Adults Only Resort offers a mixed bag experience, with its stellar decor and vibrant atmosphere offset by persistent issues such as pushy sales tactics, cleanliness concerns, and noise disturbances. While some aspects shine brightly, others leave much to be desired, making it a resort with potential for improvement.

We had a great experience at Serenade All Suits. The resort is new and in great shape; lots of pools and seating, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic for the entirety of the stay. Good beach access to shallow sandbar.
Travelled as a couple and used DAT for airport transfer both ways; we highly recommend them as a friendly and reliable transport.

The property was beautiful. Great rooms. Everything was very clean.
The beach area was also amazing. It was right next door to the main pool and very clean. The ocean was very shallow and a nice spot to swim.
The staff left a lot to be desired. There were a few rockstars who did an awesome job, but most didn't understand basic customer service. Smiles from the staff were in serious shortage.
We also had items stolen from our bags at the airport. This is no fault of the resorts, but I don't plan on going back to the Dominican Republic.

I didn’t like that they didn’t have much greenery. I liked its convenience to the airport and the hotel layout.

We have been here for 10 days. Check out is noon but we were lucky to have it extended to 3 pm ($20 per hour; well worth it for an evening flight). Overall we give the resort a 4.8/5.
We had a junior suite, pool view. It was spacious and very comfortable. Beds are extremely comfortable. If you’re fussy about your hair, bring your own hair care. The product in their dispensers is sub par.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating but most struggle with English. They appreciate any effort made to speak Spanish. We had only one server who was caulky and dismissive (at the steakhouse). We tipped everyone, including breakfast servers. Bring lots of $1’s
The 3 pools are beautiful. The one closest to the beach is the louder “party” pool. It’s fun but if it gets too crazy just move to the first or second pool.
We were a little disappointed in the restaurant selection. Apparently adults only guests used to be able to go to any of the restaurants on the family side but they now restrict it to the Sports Bar and Gourmet Restaurant (we loved Gourmet; you must reserve thru GuestServices). One week is fine, but after 10 days we were getting tired of the same food (although food was tasty). Buffets were good and offered many selections. Oceans lunch buffet is excellent.
The beach has so much seaweed. They work feverishly to rake and remove but it’s hard for them to keep up. Entertainment staff are amazing!
