Stayed for 4 nights to do the tourist thing then watch Wales play Iceland. This hotel was top draw, spotlessly clean, superb staff, great food. Could not fault anything.
Has a huge car oark out front and is easy to find, backs onto a small domestic airport but we couldn’t hear any noise from the aircraft. 20 mins walk into town. Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit Iceland.

Enjoyed our stay. Even though it was at the domestic airport, we didn't hear noise from planes. Probably the only down side is that it isnt close to anything.

It was probably a premium hotel during the 80/90-ties, but those days are since long gone. Parts of the personnel were rather rude when notable insufficiencies in the room were brought to their attention.
The restaurant too looks good to the eye, but it was managed by a head waiter, who looked troubled and stressed, which of course is transferred over to the others in the personnel. Some of them had a hard time managing English. All the guests where systematically placed in a lobby like lounge when a space right beside was filled with white and tidy tablecloths, why?
The entire crew of this hotel needs a thorough education in what it means to work with hosting and service (maybe except the cleaning people, they were nice and communicative) – we will never return.

Note that our windows face the airport, so there's some aircraft noise, but the view is still great!

The suites are quite nice. The hotel is a bit understaffed as they rarely answer the phone, but nice staff when you were physically standing in front of them at the front desk. Food at the hotel itself was mediocre. Location was the main detractor. Too far out of town and taxis take awhile to call.

Beautiful hotel. Modern and very clean. I never heard the planes or any noise despite being literally next to the airport. Staff was professional, kind and helpful. Great stay! I would recommend but I would have a car as the bus doesn't run often and the walk to downtown can be a little tricky if the weather is bad.

I had an amazing stay. Everything in and out of the city was easy to travel to. Parking was super easy and the staff was great.
