The staff deserves all the credits, they are superb. It is a lot of money for the value. No restaurant for Diner. The breakfast is excellent, the property is getting dated, you can see it is used. There is a safe parking garage for hotel guest. All together it is certainly not bad, but they are on the edge for the money.

Originally booked vac use of easy pickup and drop off from the airport via Flybus, they allowed an early check-in and held a bag while we completed the Laugavegur Trail. Great customer service and a really cool room, conveniently walkable to the downtown area and the Kaktus Kate!

The hotel room is fine but there are rooms for improvement: 1. Should consider installing usb power connection points for mobile and computer devices. 2. Bathing water is extracted from underground hot springs which has a bad smell (I understand it is normal water quality but it just not feels good) 3. Free parking means parking on the street opposite to the hotel!

Hotel was not like in the pictures. Everything in the room was outdated and ugly. The room has a very bad odor. I requested 2 twin beds and they gave me one full size. The app says free parking and that was not the case. They offer Free parking on the streets but was always full so you have to park far and walk back to the hotel. The area is far from city center. Price was high for what they offer. I only slept there the first night. I had to leave the next day and find another hotel. Service was bad and front desk and manager very rude. They were not willing to help and give me a different room like in the web pictures, neither let me park in their garage without charging me a fee… I definitely will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good walkable downtown location, yet we could street-park for free in front of the hotel. The hotel has a paid parking lot option as well. Room was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was great.

The property it’s self is very cozy, it’s not a super large hotel which was nice, it’s definitely dated but it was perfect for me, I wasn’t looking for fancy, I needed something cheaper and convenient and close to downtown. It’s about 15 minutes to the Church, 15 minutes to the harbor. The breakfast was tasty and a nice variety of items to choose from, free parking right across the street and access to a garage as well if needed, super close restaurants but still quiet and quaint. They have a small convince stand with cookies and muffins and some sodas and bottle water, they also have a tiny little bar which is convenient for grabbing a quick bev. Staff was super friendly and professional as well. I got a twin bed room and it had a balcony which I LOVED! The room itself was clean and cozy, no complaints at all. Super close to bus stop 9 which is great access for tour pick us.

This was a wonderful hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast is delicious (we only had it one day) and plentiful. It was a short walk from bus stop 13 where the FlyBus shuttle drops you from the airport. It was easy walking distance from Laugavegur which has tons of shopping, grocery, and dining options. You can also easily get to the harbor and see the cool sculptures. It isn’t terribly fancy but it is well-kept and has everything you might need-EXCEPT ADVIL! You can only get medicines at the pharmacy-not grocery or convenience stores or front desk. The blow drier is powerful and there is a towel warmer. There is a mini-fridge and hanging closet with several hangers. It was perfect for what we needed.

Ok budget hotel. Courteously changed first room which had a glazed roof that offered no blackout. Second room had spiral stair that was a constant head hazard & there was rooftop plant noise. Good breakfast offer. Staff variable. Check in great. Check out refused my desired part payment in cash. Convenient parking.

Good off street parking. Nice lobby and dining area with good breakfast. Linens were clean. There was no Internet in the room, the staff was quite nonchalant about resolving it or offering any recourse or consideration for the inconvenience. The decor looks like it was from the 1970's with rugs worn through and many items in the room exhibiting signs of end-of-life -- not in line with what was expected from a Fosshotel chain. Unfortunate.
