Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam - Central Station, an IHG Hotel

Easy walking distance from thr central station. Convenient for sightseeing and local restaurants. Tram stop nearby for local travel. Nice cold breakfast included.

We arrived early and a room was made available immediately. Excellent internet speed. Great free breakfast options. Friendly staff. Minor issue: Shower door would not close completely. Limited choice of restaurants within 10 minutes walk but lots of choices beyond 10 minutes. Location next to train station made for easy transfer to Schipol and Amsterdam. Would stay there again.

The property seemed to suffer from inconstancy with the staff. One example is our departure from the hotel. My travelling companion left early in the morning and the front desk refused to order her a taxi, saying that it was an easy walk to the train station. When I checked out later the staff at the front desk more than happily called for a taxi to take me to the train station. Another issue with the hotel was we had no phone access in the room. There was a phone in the room, but no connection. When I asked at the front desk I was basically dismissed. The staff member said that they knew some of the phones did not work but did not realize ours was out of order. Now in this day and age with cell phones you may not consider this a problem, but in a foreign country and not knowing how to contact someone in case of emergency or need a wake up call it is a tad annoying.

Nice hotel close to main train station. Tram station right in front. We are taking a cruise it’s a quick Uber ride to the terminal. Staff is extremely nice. Breakfast is an added plus. Rooms are new and a nice size. Great place to stay when visiting Rotterdam !!!

Breakfast excellent, rooms very comfortable. Personally the TV remote control didn't work - 1st world problems, no real matter! The reception area is a little cramped for both the popularity of this hotel and it's standard. The entrance to it is up a flight of stairs partially blocked by a large pillar so this gives a feeling that a hotel of far less quality lies ahead. The staff are exceptionally friendly however given that they always appeared to be busy. Overall - yes I would stay here again. Not as immediately close to Centraal station as perhaps advertised (5-6 minute walk) but I have a good feeling about my stay here. It is not popular for nothing.

I had booked a 3 night stay. Due to early flight ex Amsterdam . I requested if we could have a transfer to holiday inn in Amsterdam as there was no train service on the weekend. There was no support. I checked out a day earlier and made my way to Amsterdam with an uber and book another hotel near the airport. It was an immediate no . Not even Let me check if possible Really sad for tourists

The staff is nice. There is drinking water with either apple slices or lemon grass inside which are good for travellers. The use of smart card in the lift make you feel safe.

This hotel was central to downtown, the Central Railway Station, tourist attractions, and a great variety of eating options. We were pleased with this location. Also, when we booked in Tara was more than happy to accommodate our request for a luggage rack for our room and she supplied such with a positive and willing attitude. Later Tara helped us with locations on a map and during our stay she was attentive to make sure we were happy and made arrangement for a taxi when we booked out of the hotel. Please note that all the staff we met during our 6 night stay were pleasant and receptive to our presence. Our room was clean and looked after daily and although renovations were evident throughout the premises we were not impacted with any noise. As far as improvements are concerned we would suggest more electrical outlets be installed in the rooms as so many people travel with electrical devices. Although the breakfast area was neat, clean and well organized we felt there could be more of a hot food selection such as bacon, sausage, beans, potatoes, waffles etc or something of the sort to give a bit more variety than cheese and cold meats. Should we ever visit Rotterdam again we would book into this hotel as it served our purposes. Thank you.

It is in the centre, close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Easy travelling by bike. 5 mins walk from the train station.

i throughly enjoyed my stay here stafff were wonderful and very helpful. the location is very central within easy walkiing distance from Central station. Very good continental breakfast. The room was very clean and it was serviced daily. The only issue i have was the noise coming from the main road that the hotel stands on with the fraffic and trams travelling to and froM cental station
