What a beautiful old hotel!
We did have to wait 75 minutes for our room to be ready but we were then upgraded to the mosr
spacious room I've ever stayed in.
The room was very clean, no
issues.
There were lots of lovely restaurants near by and we were spoilt for choice.
It was a bit noisy overnight with the usual Saturday night sounds of a big city but this is to be expected.
Love watching the sunset from the window and all the city lights come on.
The parking was good. You are directed down a side street to a very old building. It was a tight fit and luckily we had a small car. Your car is locked in overnight.
The lift is very old and can only take a few people at a time which is understandable for its age.
Great stay, great location! We will be back.

The hotel was sufficient for our purposes that is location, the price and our late booking
The staff were pleasant and our check in and out were smooth the hotel is a little bit tired but for the price we paid you can’t expect a 5 star hotel
We were able to pay for parking out the back which was another bonus

Good location and lovely bones but showing lots of signs that it's not being well maintained. Poor parking facilities, plumbing not working well, lift weight limit reduced and it bangs and shudders during operation, broken mirrors, worn carpets etc. It's still nice but it needs work.

No in house bar or dinning.
Room key had to be reprogrammed daily even though the stay was multiple days.
Found four items under bed plus had not seen a vacuum in ages. Over priced for tarrif.
Bath/shower was a nightmare accident waiting too
Happen. Noise from street until 4am both nights.
Fighting oposite, traffic noise.
A tired and run down hotel.
Bed covers badly stained.
Two adjoining restaurants back entrances opened into the Hotel reception area even though the Hotel
Main door was lock coded for guest entrance after 10pm.
Car parking and terraces close when reception closes
At 10pm. But these 2 restaurants have access to hotel areas after 10pm when no hotel staff are present. This is a security risk for Hotel patrons.
The stairs and lift are not key carded so the entire upper floors are accessible .
On the plus side convenient to downtown if you do not have your own transportation. Walkable to
Cafès, restaurants.and Casino.

Very, extremely old and run down building. Rusted window had fallen out and wouldn't close, carpet filthy in the rooms, bathroom bench half fallen off the wall and glued back on, advertised free parking but such limited spaces I had to park a block over at a Wilson's carpark.

Well priced and right in the middle of Hamilton. Huge room with shower and bath.
It is tricky finding parking to book in and the car park is well hidden.

First and last to stay in this property. The room had old carpet and cracked tiles on bathroom floor that you could easily hurt yourself. The shower head was broken so we cant adjust water to spray away from wall. Very inconvenient. We had to pay $20 a day for parking that you can hardly reversed into as its so crowded and limited space to move around. On our second day, we came to our paid carpark, its been taken by someone else and they got the parking slip on their window that shows they just paid for the parking that we paid to use for 2 days. Because the place ia very old, we can hear the noises from next door.

Did not want to pay NZ$ 20 to park in hotel car park that also had limited access times. Risked parking on street which was risky. Room OK and comfortable but noise from street outside, despite being on second floor, was a little loud. GOOD Places to eat were difficult to find and the steak house had a 40 minute Q ! Needed to book in advance but when touring, that is difficult.
