Excellent choice for anyone arriving in Alesund by ferry as the hotel is right next to the ferry terminal. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Easy walking distance to bus station.

The pros of this hotel; The staff are very friendly, the patio view is gorgeous, the lobby is very hip & chic, easy location to get to and travel from, the room was super warm and ready when I arrived from the cold rain. (Also, first television in a Norwegian hotel that had apps). It was clean but not spotless clean and the rooms were not to the same decor level as the lobby. I’m also heard some occasional odd noises through the plumbing (assuming from another room).

Stayed two nights. Room was ok but was quite surprised to find timber plank floors in the rooms and not carpet (is it due to all the rain the area gets?). Very worn and scratched in places. Bed was a bit soft for me but could be okay for others. Typical chain hotel breakfast, ok selection but if you enjoy your coffee, purchase a proper one elsewhere. The latte I had from the machine was incredibly bitter and not pleasant. Reception staff are helpful. Location is on the edge but waterfront. Most things within walking distance. Free street parking if you can get one outside the hotel after 5pm.

Fantastic stay. Great hotel. Great price. Friendly staff. Unbelievable breakfast! Location was great, the only thing that would have made it perfect would have been onsite parking, but to be expected in a city I guess. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel with great service for guests, coffe, tea and hot chocolate are available at no extra cost 24 hours s day. The tourist information office is very close by, along with bus to and from the airport. Stunning views from the restaurant, and very helpful staff, highly recommended.
