If you have an electric car be careful as the parking spaces are limited, the chargers don’t work and the spaces are very narrow

close to everything... hotel is on a hill so be prepared to walk up and down the hill....Nice rooms and breakfast was really good... big European breakfast.
Have to pay for parking in the garage...

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Alesund. It is just steps from the main street. The bus from the Alesund Vigra airport can drop you off 3-4 minutes walk from the hotel. It is also only about 7-8 minutes on foot to the cruise terminal (incl. the Geiranger fjord ferry).
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is generous and tasty. There are options to buy snacks and amenities you may have forgotten (razors, chargers, etc.) at the reception 24 hrs a day.
Some of the rooms have lovely views overlooking the city.
I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and nice hotel room, with a nice view to the ocean. Welcoming and nice staff. Breakfast tasted good with a wide variety of things to choose from. The price was a bit steep, especially seeing as parking was not included. One day cost us 250NOK in parking.
