Great hotel location, parking right outside. Extensive breakfast selection and tasty. Would stay again.

The breakfast was over the top - amazing! Only complaint was that parking was not available onsite - had to find street or paid parking.

We didn't realise we needed to pre-book parking and the lot was full, so we parked on the large car park next door but had to pay via the Easypark app. The hotel location and views are fabulous. Breakfast was good, good selection and very comfortable experience. The hotel has a bar and some snack available from reception too.

Location was perfect, on the water and you can walk the center of town from the hotel. We took a taxi to the cruise port terminal, which is only a few miles away. No need to call for a taxi, we just stepped out front a waived one down. Breakfast buffet was awesome, with plenty of choices and food was delicious. Staff was very courteous and helpful. After checking out, they let us store our bags in a safe room while we enjoyed the walk around town. I would definitely recommend. Oh and most importantly the bed was very comfortable.

Rooms are clean with a good view from the hotel. A lot of restaurants in walking distance. Bus facility directly from/to the airport. Public transportation to/from hotel is good

I really loved the location of the hotel. The rooms were very nice. I just wish there was a free parking option. Parking was very expensive.

The Scandic is a good hotel. Location is good, it’s right downtown and close to most excursion stops. The rooms are a little small- the hotel is supposed to look like a ship and the rooms felt like cruise cabins. The cruise terminal docks right outside the hotel so that area can get crowded. Breakfast is big and it’s nice. But it’s a little chaotic with very little direction.

They gave us breakfast sandwiches for our flight as we were checking out before breakfast.

Our hotel room was very spacious and we were given the room with the water views. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is roughly 5-10mins walk to the main shopping street. The hotel is also the main pick up location for many tours (many tours also pick up from the nearby bar or Radisson Blu hotel next door). The airport express bus also stops right outside the hotel. So location is definitely the best! The only drawback is the breakfast can get very busy but if you are early, this shouldn’t be a problem.

Great location and the airport bus stops right outside the hotel. And they are very eco friendly. Signs for water conservation in the bathroom, signs advising you what to do if you didn't want your towels/sheets changed around the room (in the effort of conserving). I'm all for that. The room was supposed to be facing the water but they don't tell you about the cruise ships that dock right outside your window and therefore you can't keep the drapes open. Also, there is no phone in the room so if you need to call the front desk you have to use your data and minutes or make a trip downstairs. The safe didn't work. And it took me several minutes to find the switch for the bathroom light. It was placed right below the ceiling. So, good luck if you're under 5'6". Another thing that took me a while to find was the bathroom garbage can. It was affixed to the wall right below the sink. So, you had to squat and lift the lid with your hand and the lid wouldn't open all the way because it hit the bottom of the sink. That was weird. The bathroom floors were heated which I found fantastic!! I have to admit the front desk isn't the friendliest but they're efficient. It just would be nice if they smiled once in a while. I was happy I was there and couldn't help but smile but the minute I got up to the front desk, and every time after that, I felt like I did something wrong because they just had really sour faces. The rest of the staff was great, however.
