Courtyard by Marriott Aguadilla

My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The staff's attitude was unwelcoming, and the rooms had a pervasive moldy smell. Additionally, the pool was over-bleached, making it unpleasant to use. To top it off, they charge for parking, which felt like an unnecessary extra fee. I've been a regular guest at the Mayaguez Holiday Inn and the Aquarius in Boqueron for years without any complaints. I decided to try a new location on the north side of the island, but this experience has ensured that I will never return to this hotel.

Great customer service, fast check-in and very close to the BQN airport.

Its convenient to the airport, lical spots and beach.

WAY too expensive for the "luxury" nightmare I experienced. 2 different rooms flooded, one by faulty A/C, one by faulty toilet. When the toilet overflowed, they said they couldn't repair it until morning. They lied and said every room was full, so I couldn't move to another non-flooded room. Then there is the issue of the parking lot card/ticket system. $1300 for 4 nights.... ridiculous.

As i check out the front desk told me they charge me the stay again by mistake, from a credit card thet i left to hold a $50.00 amount for the parking and security purposes.they said that i will receive a refund in a few days but that isnt normal.

The staff was very, very friendly. However, the parking card did not work. It was an issue getting out of the parking lot. The room was not very clean, it smelled moldy. Someone was smoking the second night of our stay. It wasn't a horrible stay but it wasn't a great experience.

Near airport

The staff of Courtyard Aguadilla was super nice. Rooms are kept clean, check in was a breeze. The downsides was that the pools were both looking pretty dirty. There are multiple leaves and dead bugs on both sides of the pool as well as a moldy looking ring that is above the water line of both pools. The Denny’s on site is very convenient specially to start the day and if you’re too tired from activities to go anywhere else to eat. Staff there was wonderful! Rent a car because every trip with the taxi companies will run you $20 per trip. There is a free hotel shuttle to and from the airport which is a great plus. Overall we had a good time staying here. I just would much prefer if the pools were cleaned because we stayed at this hotel for the mini water slides and pool.

Parking was less than pleasant at the property. This location has a slot style casino. We were there for a weekend stay and would arrive late in the night. Absolutely no parking on the property Saturday, had to park off property at a non secured location and at checkout was not able to get credit for the $8 daily parking fee. Though pleasant, the staff person on duty during our early checkout, was not able to credit my account because it needed a manager approval. She did offer us a credit voucher for the bistro but we were flying back home. There needs to be a system so that hotel guests can have their vehicles parked more so since they do charge you for parking daily. Outside of this, the property was good.

This was our 4th stay at Aguadilla Courtyard Marriott. The only complaint I have is when our flight was cancelled due to weather at home the process of extending our stay was expensive as we had to put a 2nd deposit down for one extra night. 500$ deposit? Really?
