The hotel was classy, but you could hear thrugh the wall what people was talking about in rooms next to mine, so it was hard to sleep. Also the elevator stopped, so I got stuck in the elevator as it stopped between to floors and stopped working. This was very traumatic as I almost lost my flight to Taiwan because of it. They did not try to apoligize or do anything to help me get to the airport after loosing so much time just waiting for their machanic to be able to open the door so I could get out.

The hotel is very close to the airport. I stayed in the family suite room with my 2 kids (4 years and 1 year old) and it was very convenient. One thing to improve is that there is no microwave in the room. As we ate some food in the room, I saw some bugs flying. other than that, this hotel was very nice and I want to stay here again.

Nice exterior and park. Great place to take photos and for special events. Although its old its nice to stay for a night.However, long distance from Seoul downtown and no subway stations nearby (takes 10 min. by taxi). No shuttles to Kimpo airport due to COVID-19. Overall, it was nice and I would definitely visit again when I have an early flight.

Room was clean but furnitures were quite old. There were noise from flights as it is located fairly close to Gimpo Airport but it was ok at night. It is family friendly and has a golf course so parking lots are crowded by not just hotel guests. It holds also many banquets onsite. I personally enjoyed restaurants: Nakwon and Yiyuan. Overall I am willing to stay again in future.

I made the mistake of using the Mayfield as a base of operations for my business activities in Seoul, instead of staying at a downtown hotel. This was huge mistake since it takes 80-90 minutes to travel to downtown by taxi. Also, it is clearly not a 5 star hotel...3 stars at best.
