SR Hotel Seoul Magok

Booked this hotel last minute for a layover in Seoul. We chose this hotel as it had a pool, but when we got there, they told us that the pool is only open from 12:00-8:00 PM, with the check out time being 11:00 AM. So we would not have access to the pool. AND - they will charge extra if we want to use the pool. The AC unit was not turned on in our room so it was 30°c, if only stays on if there’s a room key in the hole. The area around the hotel was great for food options.

This hotel is a perfect place for business travelers and people who love to visit the center of Seoul. It has a subway station (line 5) taking 3 minutes on foot. It was Spring when I stayed in this hotel so I could enjoy cherry blossom at "Yoido" by subway. The hotel looks newly built and every service and the facility are highly satisfied. If you have a car, they also serve a valet parking. I am sure no one will complain against the service. It is also good place to go to the airport. It is very close to the airport and the center of Seoul. Ah, one more thing. There is a department called "NC" department. There are many types of restaurants there and my friends from Vietnam enjoyed Viernanese food there. It is good place for purchasing gifts for the travelers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone no matter what the purpose of the visiting Seoul is. Thanks for the professional service!

Friendly hotel with great communication before we arrived and we were also able to check in early which was much appreciated after an overnight flight. We stayed two separate nights and had different rooms each time. The rooms were very comfortable with automatic flushing loos with heated seats and a myriad of confusing (to a westerner) washing settings, and a wooden bathtub in one room and a stand-alone bath with a view in the other! The staff were helpful in suggesting places to eat and there was certainly a huge choice in the locality. A very Korean location! We didn’t come across any other westerners- we stayed here for the location near Gimpo Airport and the free shuttle to the airport for an 8am flight. An excellent hotel choice!
