Decent and very clean hotel, with a great location placement for easy reach of all the sights on Yas Island. Also very close to the airport.
Nice sized rooms and very friendly and helpfull staff.
The breakfast buffet was very well stocked, and it is hard to find anything missing in terms of good selection.

I arrived during the largest floods in decades in Abu Dhabi, and the hotel was overbooked. However, the manager sorted out a stay next door at Staybridge Suites for me very quickly and helped me move my luggage and move in there. The area is convenient for the airport and trips within Abu Dhabi and to Dubai, but since I didn't end up staying at Centro, I cannot comment on the facilities. The staff were very helpful in a difficult situation that arose due to a weather emergency.

I spent almost 3 hours on the phone and messaging (live chat) attempting to change my check-in date for 3 rooms, because my client's flight was delayed by 1 day. I was never able to change the check-in date, therefore I was charged the full price of the 3 rooms - and ended up staying at another hotel because of the service.
Centro Yas Island reservation desk was not reachable, unless you contacted the restaurant reservations and asked them to transfer you.
This was highly frustrating and would not recommend for this reason. I have no idea what the property was like, since I was never able to check-in at the hotel.

Not far from the Abudhabi airport. Easy to get taxi from / to the airport. Very few bathroom amenities provided.

Great people great hotel only disappointment was they chsrged me 110 for a lift from the airport for a 25 ride

We had a wonderful stay at the Centro from start to finish. Very friendly and smiling staff throughout the hotel.We had arrived too early to check in but we completed the procedure and we were put on a priority list for an available room.After we had been waiting a while, bearing in mind we were still not at check in time we were upgraded to a larger room for waiting patiently. The room was beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean with a great view of the Yas Marina F1 circuit. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality and catered for all tastes and stayed warm, and lovely piping hot tea and coffee. Plenty of room in the breakfast area and we ate outdoors 2 days out of 3. Pool area was spotlessly clean with lovely comfortable sun beds, lifeguard was on hand at all times and a free pool towel service. My only very small criticism is that the 24 hour snack area was very expensive but you are paying for the convenience. However, the bus stop for the free Yas Express shuttles was outside to all Yas Island attractions was convenient including the huge Yas Mall which had plentiful shops, cafes, fast food, restaurants and a huge carrefour hypermarket. Wonderful hotel. One small tip, if you are a light sleeper consider taking some foam ear plugs as the Airport is close by and inevitably some noise can be hear but this did not detract from our stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

After a long day travelling from home, flight, waiting fir baggage & transfer upon arriving at the hotel, past 2.30am, we waited a very long time to be checked in, even though there were 2 reception clerks and 1 chap being served & a couple being served, we waited a long time before even acknowledged. Then when checking in we were "expected in 22nd, but we not arrive" I replied we left home on 22nd November but of course it will be 23rd when we check in as gone past midnight into new day once we had arrived Abu Dhabi local time. I shouldn't have to tell staff this so this helps them find our booking. We have been to Abu Dhabi several times & Dubai and are aware we pay the Dirram taxes in hotels and was asked to pay 105AED I went to pay in card and was told my card was declined do can I pay cash, later to find out after I called lloyds bank, that it was an issue from the merchant reader in hotel and all other card readers after reception worked without any issue, co-incident, I do not think, if you want taxes laying in cash only, make that clear upon arrival. Now gone 3.30am. We proceeded to the lift.
We were unaware that one if the room cards actually needs to be used to activate the lift, we spent the next 10 mins going in & out of lifts thinking they were nit working until a night porter assisted us.
I would suggest doing away with this as once checked in inky hotel guests can access hotel, only 1 card to issue & no faffing at lifts, help speed up check in process.
