Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi Yas Island

This place is worth it. I stayed for only a night. My flight was severly delayed so it messed up my plans. Bar was open. The place was huge. My room was nice. Go for it!

The hotel was nice and clean. Access to beach is not convenient at all. The closest needs about 10 min walk, and another requires shuttle trip, which I did not go since the shuttle did not show and I had limited time to visit the beach. The breakfast was excellent. I was not offered anything as VIP.

The first hotel we have stayed twice at I usually prefer to try new ones, but they had a very good deal on a premier suite with a wrap round balcony. It's one of the group on hotel plaza so there are several nice restaurants in a short walk. I don't think any hotels on yas have direct beach access so they give you free entry to the beach club which is a short hop in a taxi, even though it's close enough to walk through the golf course. I marked it down a bit as my wife is gluten intolerant, last time we had no problems but this time the breakfast buffet was lacking stuff she could eat, and we could not use any of the hotel restaurants for evening meals, luckily the other ones were close by. Oddly they would not charge anything to the room account so it was payg for any extras like coffee or laundry. Overall nice hotel, not a patch on the yas or w I think it's called now, next time i'll probably try the crown plaza next door.

Having arranged a hotel pick up from the airport which went very smoothly, the check in took a little longer than expected as there were only 2 desks 'open' when we arrived late in the evening. We were given the option to upgrade from our business class room to a suite for a little extra, which we took. The suite was spacious and well equipped but the decor was very dark, the carpet, furniture and with some really odd wood panelling on the ceiling of the bedroom, but we had come to spend time in Abu Dhabi, not the hotel room. Breakfast was plentiful, with many choices from all over the world. It could be hectic at times but I expect that might have been the time of year and when we ate earlier, it was certainly easier to get what you wanted and a lot quieter. We were slightly disappointed with the servicing of the room, we only received a turn down service onceand the second time we were asked, we were getting ready to go out at 5.30pm so it wasn't convenient at that time.........we never received any further 'turn down'. I also noticed that as you approach the end of your stay, toiletries aren't replenished even though we clearly used them and on the last 2 nights we had used flannels left on the side of the bath. This was a little bit of a lack of attention to detail in my opinion. Overall we did have a fabulous time and even though it is classed as a business hotel, this wasn't really apparent as our young daughter loved everything!

Great value if you get a deal including breakfast as we did. Yas Island itself is quite isolated with no nearby facilities, but the hotel is very nice. Close to the airport and so you do get the occaisional noisy plane flying over. Very helpful staff.

i've had a very short stay in this hotel since i checked out late and I just slept and checked out in early morning to catch up with the flight. The location of this hotel is 10 mins away from the international airport and it's very close to Yas racing circuit and Ferrari world.
