The hotel is dated but good value for money. Good food choices for the price. Friendly staff, parking on site. I don't rule out staying there again.

The hotel itself was adequate for a quick cheap stay. The beds were rock hard as were the pillows which made it quite uncomfortable to sleep. The parking situation was a nightmare. It’s like people park their cars then don’t leave for a week as during our two day stay we didn’t once see an available park and the same cars just seemed to be there. Had to park on the street which wasn’t of great comfort with the amount of broken glass along footpaths from cars clearly being broken in to. No room service during the stay which didn’t bother us but the fact there was no free wifi in rooms was ridiculous for this day and age. Overall it was a “get what you pay for” stay but was okay for a quick stop when you’re doing a road trip and can’t afford to be staying in 5 star luxury the whole time

No parking available. Wi-Fi charged. One front of house staff member most unhelpful, surly to the point of rude although 2 others nice. Room very tired, one bulb flickering, one not working. Tea and coffee, just 1 sachet of each. Overall a stay to forget.

We arrived to book in at 22:15. Place was obviously busy as there was no parking. The road outside is all double yellows so we squeezed in a spot at the exit. There were two people checking in in front of us. Two staff at reception but only one actually doing the checking in. It took 35 minutes for us to get to the front of the short queue. No hello no apology no smile, just “name”. She became distracted twice and the poor lady in front of us was told there was no room for her. The room was hotter than sleeping in the caldera of an active volcano. The windows barely opened but there was an ineffective fan which blew the hot air around. The room is in need of a refurbishment. Mismatched new and old furniture and so many cracked and broken tiles in the bathroom some bordering on dangerous. There was someone else’s used bar of soap on top of the unused dispenser and there is orange slime around the shower holder that indicates it has not been cleaned in a while. The bed had a bounce worthy of a gymnastic trampoline one person moves all move. The only redeeming feature is breakfast in the morning but the coffee is bordering on disgusting. No we won’t be back. Overpriced room it is not even to the standard of a travelodge but charges like the Hilton for a Saturday night. £122 was not worth it it is a £37 room all day everyday.

The room we booked wasn’t available at the hotel we paid extra money for the room, Staff Blamed booking website (Expedia) for false advertising the room, and didn’t wanted to help. The room was smelly and very outdated. The mattresses are very hard it’s like sleeping on springs . There was red stain on the bed and shower curtain and we were given only one towel for 2 people. I complaint to the staff about the issue and his reaction was “ok”. Also note there is not enough parking at site its first come first serve . Never again.

Ignored the review which said “BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE”… what a mistake! The reviews on here are not unreasonable, this place is something else. My white striped swimsuit is now bright green from using the pool. The family room was a decent size, female staff and male caretaker were very helpful and sorted out our issues straight away, but really this place is so tired, so run down, in desperate need of some updating. Clean-ish but there was a false nail in plain sight left under the bed and if you’re offered sofa and cot beds instead of real single beds, refuse - they were so uncomfortable for our young kids. We were much happier when upgraded to a family room with (small) double and 2 singles. Better off pushing twin beds together. Lovely location and while parking spaces were never available on site, there was always available free space along on the road. Clientele and evening entertainment were hilarious. What an experience. Like stepping back in time.
