Friendly staff who upgraded this very weary traveler on checking in. Lift out of service, and was offered assist, but only had a small case and suit bag. Room excellent, comfortable, quiet. Didn’t have time for breakfast, but will most definitely have it next time. Great find, and convenient for the M1 south.

It was mostly good but we were disgusted that we had to pay £8 for parking as we were not informed about this prior to our arrival.

There was no indication that parking would be charged, and £8 was added to our bill on departure without warning. Conditions in the hotel and particularly at breakfast were highly dangerous, as virtually no one, including staff, had any face covering in a barely ventilated space. This included an open buffet bar with exposed bread, croissants and other food over which customers were breathing and talking. As highly vulnerable clients, we are relieved and surprised not to have been infected by the virus.

Hotel claims to be an airport hotel but is 15 minutes away from the airport with no shuttles running. Rooms are very dated and A/C wasn’t great Wedding going on the same night so hotel was very loud and with a young family we struggled to sleep before our flights the next day

We only stayed as we had an early morning flight and paid £60 room only. Upon check in we were hit with an £8 parking fee which we didnt expect. Unfortunately we were given a disabled room so everything was at wheelchair level and there were 2 x single beds and not a double. The matresses were like sleeping on a trampoline boing boing. Theres a Marco Pierre White restaurant attached, give it a miss I cant believe he puts his name to food like this. Ribs warmed in the microwave with sauce poured on top, the underside was bone dry. The other diners were like animals the table next to us (see pic) let their child throw spaghetti bolognese all over, absolutely disgraceful.

Room was very pleasant, cold on arrival but after finding the radiator soon warmed up. The desk area was incredibly dusty! We had room 404, which had an interconnecting door with the next room. Planes fly overhead up to around midnight and are regular and noisy. When the guests next door arrived at their room late in the evening we could hear every part of their conversation, them using the bathroom, and a phone call, where we could actually hear the person on the other end! With a very early start needed I then made 2 calls to reception, one at 11pm, which was ignored and the second at 12am, when within 5 minutes the guests next door were asked to be quiet, which they then were. The beds were very comfortable. My advice would be to not have a room on the top floor and if possible ask for a room without an interconnecting door! On checking out the next morning, the reception team was not aware of the issue but after discussing it with them were apologetic.

Great hotel rooms and brilliant housekeeping. Warm welcome and clean hotel. Nice touch with the water cans in the room This hotel is right next to the airport so I expected aircraft noise and there is lots of it so do be prepared. It wasn’t clear that parking wasn’t included when booking so a bit of a shock to have to pay £8 a night. Restaurant was a let down for friendliness, speed of service, accuracy and general efficiency. I dined for dinner and breakfast for 4 nights and experienced the same things each time.

The hotel was nice if a little dated and the pool & spa facilities were OK. However, I only became aware that they charge £8 per day parking when arriving at Reception. When I was considering cancelling my booking because of it Reception waived the parking charge. Other than that my stay was fine. I would stay again if they dropped the parking charge. I personally think it is sly of a hotel to charge parking when it should be in with the price. Its like going to buy a car and the seller charging extra for the wheels!

Felt like a real hotel with people doing things, staff who cared, a great location. I do not agree with paying for parking as a hotel guest.

Decent hotel with good design and comforting rooms. Only slight let down was having to pay for parking, despite being free for conference delegates and restaurant visitors.
