Great area to walk and walk your dog. Drink machine is stubborn but they are supposed to be adding an area with drinks and snacks controls by hotel staff that fill hopefully be better. Convenience store next door seems to close early. Lots of restaurants and shops near by. No available shuttle service.

We had a terrible experience at a hotel in Atlanta the night before. I managed to get us a room booked here, the saturday of memorial day weekend. The desk clerk was friendly and welcoming! She even let us check in an hour early, because i got there just before 2, having forgotten about the time zone change between Atlanta and Birmingham. We were in a clean and comfortable nice room within 10 minutes! There are a TON of food options within walking distance, and even a Shoney's right in the parking lot! And there is a grocery store right across the street. The pool was closed, but after the time we had at 2 different hotels in one night in Atlanta.... Thats fine. Its not a brand spanking new hotel, but its comfy and clean and all the staff is nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again, if ever in the area again.

I was booked at the wrong hotel after three hours trying to get a transfer by refunding one and repurchasing another at a higher price. We wanted a king and had to take two two queen. But we got into a room We got a great sleep. Spent the next day and night at hospital that was 11 minutes away instead of 45 minutes out. With Gods help and and teaching of compassion it went ok.

Avoid this hotel! The room was disgusting, carpet wet and moldy from a/c leak. The toilet seat about to fall off and don’t even get me started on the joke of a breakfast, three containers of outdated yogurt and sausage made of rubber! Oh, and the coffee pot in my room still had someone else’s molded coffee pod in it! Disgusting!!!! If there was a way to get my money back, I would get it back ! If we hadn’t been so tired from traveling we would have went somewhere else

My coworker and myself have stayed 2 nights per week since March. As travel nurses we really just need a place to sleep. Tonight I was blown away by the absolute horrible treatment we received by not only this facility, but by Wyndham corporate and hotels.com. We arrived as we always do, after our shift. We are met with “you have to give a $250 cash deposit to stay” even though my room was paid in full. No one could or would show us a policy only stated it was a fee for possible damages. BUT, only 3rd party bookings have to pay. As a Wyndham award member I didn’t have to pay if I’d booked through them. So then after demanding to speak with manager the price was dropped to $100. BUT, they expected me to give them the cash with no receipt, “I will put a sticky note on it to be returned to you when to check out”. What a min? Can’t show proof of the “new” policy. Even though my room is paid in full with confirmation number and recipient. AND no paper trail to prove I have you a cash deposit that’s to be returned to me in the morning? Called corporate as I was there. They were very surprised and had no idea what the deposits was for or why I was being charged. Put me on hold for 30 min, never came back on. Then calling hotels.com, they were shocked and told me this was not correct and could not be done. Well, they then backed the hotel. I will never stay here again and I will tell ALL my nursing friends to avoid as well. Terrible, terrible business practice!

The location was good, however the staff was nowhere to be found upon checkin, myself and others were waiting several minutes before anyone even came to the front desk. They were not prepared for me to be traveling with my dog even though my reservation was clearly made with one coming. Very snooty upon greeting, “ we didn’t know you were bringing a dog “ instead of “hello”. The rooms smell horrible, like mildew and cigarettes.

Was disappointed the pool was under construction. First thing I saw when I was looking hotels that there was a pool and wanted a Pool to relax since traveling. and then not opened and still paid same price. Didnt find out till checked in. Condition of some of stuff in room. Wont go there again or recommend to others. No name on outside of hotel because under construction. Had to walk in to make sue had the right hotel. Never again

The check-in employee, Marsha, was absolutely the best one I have ever met. Anything she could do she did to make sure we were comfortable. The TV remote would not function and she searched all over until she replaced it with one that worked. She brought us extra linens - she was great. The worst part was that there were screws and nails all over the parking lot. I had to walk in front of the car picking them up from the ground to try to keep my car tires from driving over any, but it was impossible. The tire pressure warning light came on for the tires after we checked out and began driving on the highway. A message displayed on my dashboard to go to the Toyota Dealer to have the tires checked. If I have to buy a new tire because there’s is a nail or screw in it I will be very angry and I will be getting in contact with La Quinta corporate about this serious issue.

Because I paid thru a 3rd party, they made me leave a $150 CASH ONLY deposit. Then tried to tell me it was on my booking information. I pulled it up, doubled checked, it wasn’t. The story was changed to well it’s on their website. That they can’t control 3rd party websites. I said well maybe you shouldn’t use them then because I don’t have $150 CASH. I wasn’t about to track down an atm and go to all the trouble I just wanted to rest after traveling. They took the $70 I had. But it was senseless, they didn’t even check the room before it was handed back the next morning. The bed was rock hard I hardly slept. Would not stay again.
