I was a bit disappointed with the hotel’s facilities. The pool was closed all throughout our stay due to their own maintenance issues. Most of the electrical equipment was out of order. The treadmill was broken. Only one of the ellipticals worked. The free weights area was the only well kept space.
The breakfast was unsatisfying. We were seven in total, including two little kids, that had been traveling from Indiana to Wyoming, then from Wyoming to Colorado. We were hungry and to wake up only to yogurt really gutted us.
Our last night sleeping in the hotel was very uncomfortable due to the air conditioning not working. Apparently it was the whole building that had trouble with the hot temperature. We couldn’t have one last great sleep.
I appreciated the appearance of the hotel and the rooms but one thing that really bothered my family was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The door to the bathroom was only two wooden doors that didn’t fully closed. It was impossible to do whatever it was in the bathroom comfortably.
The hotel has a lot of potential to be great. I hope this review could help the management and staff to improve in these faults that guest put value into.

Ok folks I never leave reviews but I have to on this place, first pictures are deceiving! This place at best is a $35 dollar a night at best in a very shady area, homeless walking the parking lot all night, it’s an old motel that someone tried to rehab I think they may have used the homeless to do it, terrible job, I seen another review that warned everyone but no I didn’t listen dummy me, my wife walked across the floor in her white socks when she took them off it looked like walked around in the parking lot (black) there was a gap under the door you can stick your hand under it, the toilet seat was all but broke off, the a/c broke that evening it was 80* in the room, people smoking pot in there room and that’s all we could smell, when I checked out I told the guy at the desk about the A/C he didn’t say anything. I know it sounds like I’m just not happy about anything, but guys this is all the truth. Beware

Really like this place, wasn’t to sure when we were pulling into the road to the parking lot buts it’s great don’t let it scare you.
Rooms are spacious and very clean staff is super friendly and I’m sure the view would be great but it was smoky outside.
Breakfast in the morning was very good pastries, muffins, yogurt and of coarse coffee and tea.
Would be back for sure when we are in the area.

Staff was great. Lobby cute and well stocked with food/drink options. However, the room was not very clean and the floor was nasty dirty. After taking a shower I walked from the shower to the bed and the bottom of my feet were black with grime. Also if you want a quiet night’s sleep, go somewhere else or bring a loud white noise machine. The street next to the hotel is used as a teenager racing strip and the parking lot across the street is used for drifting. Also the pool had too much chlorine in it. Grandson and son complained that their skin was stinging after swimming.

I saw this property on Expedia and wanted to check it out when traveling through Colorado Springs. It was very comfortable and has a cool unique vibe. I didn't have time to check out the swimming pool or gym but they had terrific coffee and offered breakfast muffins and yogurt for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again in the furore.

Overall, we had a fine stay at SCP. The amenities and staff were great. The only major drawback was the lack of warm water in the bathroom. Although I don’t mind a cold shower every now and then, I didn’t want one after a long day of hiking and traveling. We also only had a recycling bin in our room and no way to properly discard trash. The location a little sketchy, but I didn’t feel unsafe. Expedia should also note the $60 pet fee upon checkin. This would have been good to know before our arrival, but it’s hardly a dealbreaker.

This is not a 3-star hotel..
As we entered the room, we noticed that the floors were dirty. There was pet hair, dust balls, etc. There was duct tape on the window holding the curtains. We immediately got that uneasy feeling of a dirty room. We checked the beds for bedbugs.. thankfully the sheets and towels were clean. However, the lighting in the room was dark, and everything about the room just felt dirty. The doors open to the outside, so we would hear people in the parking lot or walking the hallways at all hours of the night.
The hotel was in a bit of a sketchy area, right next to a mobile home part.
SCP - stands for Soul, Community, Planet.. they were very "ecofriendly" so there were no water bottles in the room, no personal toiletries (only big sharable bottles), no bags in the trash.
We did not enjoy this hotel, and won't be staying at SCP hotels in the future.

Thin walls…made it noisy. The property was very unique and trendy. Great place for younger travelers.
