La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas DFW Airport North

Close to the airport with free parking and breakfast. Appeared to be recently updated.

Room was fine, breakfast was okay, staff friendly. But the Airport shuttle from the airport -awful, as we waited 58 minutes. They share a shuttle with other hotels. Based on that, I can recommend this hotel.

We only stayed few hours, had missed flight connection and need to sleep a bit for early morning flight. It was quick, convenient, comfortable and clean!

the front desk staff at night was fantastic. They read our minds and answered questions we hadn't thought to ask yet. Those ladies were top-notch. The hotel was clean and made everything easy-- airport shuttles and everything.

Quick and convenient for the airport

The airport shuttle saved me an arm & a leg from having to park at the airport. Parking at the hotel and getting a ride back and forth to/from the airport was a great help at only $10/day for your parked car while you’re gone. No airport traffic headache to worry with. The rooms were spotless & very well maintained. This is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. This will be my new booking hotel when I travel and need to stay overnight.

We stayed there a year ago (during major updating) and loved it then so came back this year. We were there one night for a flight out of DFW the next morning. Their location just minutes from the airport plus shuttle service to and from airport plus the ability to leave our car there for a week (for a very small fee) while we were gone was very appealing to us. And the major influencer for us is that they are pet friendly as our fur baby travels with us. The hotel is very clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice and shower is great. They serve a warm breakfast each morning, they have a pool, if interested, and they are reasonably priced for their accommodations. There aren’t lots of restaurants nearby but there is a Whataburger just around the corner that was great! We will use again when flying out of DFW. Very pleased.

The hotel itself is fine. What’s bad is the shuttle bus to and from the hotel, which is shared with a handful other hotels. The so called bus is actually the size of a box van. It is packed with people and hardly any space left for luggage. When I arrived at the airport, I have to call the hotel and listen to the phone ring for 5 minutes before anyone picking up the phone. When the bus got to the pick up spot, it was so packed with passengers that I have to wait for the next bus. All in all, it took about 1 hour to get to the hotel from the airport. I only had one luggage. If you have a few suitcases, you will probably never make it on to the shuttle bus.

I only needed an over night stay near the airport.
