High Plains Hotel at Denver International Airport

The lady that checked us in and the shuttle driver in the morning were fantastic

The property is undergoing a name change to Hilton, so that was a little confusing, but they did send an email that said as much beforehand, so that was good. The shuttle was on time and free for us, but apparently it varies if it's free or not depending on which booking app you use, so be aware of that and confirm with the front desk beforehand. The breakfast sounded good, but we didn't get to try it since our flight was before 6am. We had to stay another night and the Microtel down the block had a cheaper rate, so we switched to them, and it was an inferior hotel compared to this one. However, they did have free toothpaste/toothbrush, which with High Plains, you had to pay for. Also, Microtels breakfast was inferior.

Under construction. Fee for shuttle even when you stay there. Don’t give complementary toiletries.

The parking lot is very limited. Our car was covered in bird poop within the 4 hours we were parked there. Having to pay to park was unexpected. Possibly should have read more on that. They need to do something about the bird in the trees. Couldn’t even see out the windshield.

I have never left a bad review for anyone ever. As soon as I booked on Expedia, I called the front rest to let them know I was bringing my dog. When the lovely girl who answered the phone told me the pet fee was $75 I almost died. I told her I did not have it she said ok and asked my name and said oh gosh no you won’t be charged. I went and slept in my car at the airport in the Pikes Peak lot as my flight was the following day. They don’t give a crap. Absolutely refuse to even have a conversation. There are plenty of hotels out there. Don’t use this one

Facility was Under construction, however clean and refurbished. the shuttle to and from airport only once an hour, so after all day flying I didn’t want to wait 55 minutes so paid for an Uber. Staff at check in was fine, but in morning not helpful or personal. Stressful wondering about shuttle which showed at last minute. Will not stay here again

Currently transitioning to a Spark by Hilton so some construction going on. Convenient location near airport

Lobby being remodeled, very limited breakfast seating, at check in was charged $100 deposit to cover extras/damage/theft they assumed we would incur. Three days after leaving the charge is still pending. Parking was $10/day, car wash to remove bird crap from parking lot trees was $9/day.
