Aloft Fort Lauderdale Airport

I booked the hotel through hotels.com and in this website doesn’t say anything about the valet parking however when we got to the property that was the only option available and it was a charge of $35 per night which it’s very expensive. I walked to the front desk and the staff were very rude trying to explain that in their website it’s stated the nightly reate but not in Hotels.com. I got in contact with an agent using the chat option but conversation was ended without a solution and I am now not able to get back to the chat and I’m Not willing to pay the $35 since I was not aware of it.

Clean modern rooms. Close to airport and cruise terminals

The property was really nice, one of the nicer alofts I’ve stayed in, but the parking/valet situation was a mess and in my opinion, a bit unnecessary. The valet attendants were great and really tried to work with me, applauds to them, but if I’m staying at an Aloft, I’m not looking for a resort experience, there’s no need for mandatory valet. There was plenty of room for a self park lot and a valet lot. I would have happily paid $15-20 to park my car myself and have access immediately being that I was staying there on business and needed my car immediately. Rather than having to pay the $35 plus tip, for the fellas to drive the car over to me about 200 ft from the front door. superfluous, an opportunity for up charge for sure. Not a fan. Aside from that, when I first got to the room, I washed my hands and the sink wouldn’t drain, but I told them downstairs and they fixed it immediately. Not a big problem at all. The staff is very friendly. I like that it is close to the airport and the cruise port, which is the main reason I picked this hotel. It's very clean and smells good! :) I would definitely come back. The overall experience was great!

This was a wonderful stay. Friendly staff, and a great location. This was close to the airport and close to the cruise port. This will be my go-to place anytime I return to Fort Lauderdale.

The stay was great. This hotel was so clean and great for a weekend. The only down side was parking is 35$ a night.

The only thing is the parking charge. And my room was not clean the next day

I really enjoyed how close the hotel was to everything. There were so many rental companies around the hotel which made it easier to rent a car to drive to Miami. The hotel was centrally located to just about everything! They also had an airport shuttle which facilitated transportation. Great hotel!

My wife and I loved our stay at Aloft. We were celebrating our 17th anniversary and the experience was awesome. The price was good for the stay. The only down side was the valet parking only option. It would be good if customers have an option to chose between parking their own vehicle or valet parking, instead of having to pay for parking because of their valet only parking requirement. Also, our room had a door connecting our room to another room, that was the only two down side. Other than that it was excellent. The ac was great, great smelling soap, shampoo, and conditioner, nice big tv, and you feel safe.
