My husband and I had a great stay at Hotel Hartness, celebrating our one year wedding anniversary! We enjoyed taking advantage of the outdoor pool area, walking paths, and hotel bar for some delicious food and refreshing drinks. It was a great escape from the city with it's scenic setting, yet close enough to the heart of Greenville to take advantage of all the shops, restaurants, and parks the city has to offer. All of the hotel staff were friendly, courteous, and accommodating! We would highly encourage anyone traveling to Greenville to book this hotel.

Overall a great find with awesome architecture, art, and dining options and a great design and staff. Only suggestion, seeing that it is relatively new, I would suggest investing in something that tells the story of the property, neighboring community, trails, gardens, etc and its vision of how it connects to the neighboring community/land that feels like a private nature preserve. And ice machine centrally located somewhere for guests to self serve wouldn’t be a bad idea either since it seemed staff had to travel far for it from main desk. Thanks!

Clean, comfortable and charming in a serene setting. The hotel overlooks a beautiful pond with ample seating for guests to enjoy the scenery. There is a workout facility, pool, ballroom, spa, restaurant and bar attached to the property and another restaurant within walking distance. Complimentary water bottles and bikes for exploring the property are a nice plus as well as the delicious breakfast that comes with the room. A great option for travelers!

Everything was great. Safe, clean and luxurious. The only negative was when we first got there, there wasn’t anyone at the front desk for about 10 minutes and then when we used the luggage cart for our bags, a staff member came up to my wife and sort of “took over” the cart without asking if we needed any help and it made my wife feel a little uncomfortable because she was waiting while I was parking the car.

Nice and Quiet retreat that is close to several retail and entertainment options within short driving distance and the access from parking lot to room being short and convenient makes for a perfect combination.

I loved the fact that the hotel was closer to the airport, but away from all the hustle and bustle of nearby cities of Greenville and Spartanburg. The hotel had a park like setting surrounding it where you can walk around and just be in nature. I like the fact that the hotel felt like luxury without luxury prices.
The room was very comfortable. We had a unit on the top floor and even though you can hear some noise from the outside it wasn't too bad the walls were pretty much thick.
The food was good. We only had breakfast but it was hot and fresh. You must come before the majority of just show up. Otherwise the dining area just gets too crowded.
Front desk staff took good care of us and we were very accommodating.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family if they're in the area.
