Red Roof Inn Gulfport - Biloxi Airport

There was drug use in the parking lot, the shower curtain was broke, the bed was broke , the non smoking room smelled like smoke.

Pictures were misleading of what the property actually looked like. Room was dirty, blankets wreaked of cigarette smoke (non smoking room), blankets covered in cigarette burns, one pillow per person for a family of four, two towels for a family of four. Staff didn’t seem to care about any of that or give extras. Every time we walked outside we would chocked by the smell of weed. Bathroom had a hole in the and crack in shower wall. People were blaring music in the parking lot all night, homeless people were walking around looking in peoples vehicles. This property needs to shut down and get a serious upgrade, from building all the way to the staff!!!! The only staff member that was pleasant was the lady that was cooking the breakfast food, she was super sweet and went about and beyond for our children.

Noise easily traveled between the rooms making it virtually impossible to sleep. The towels were very thin and appeared cheap. Additionally, the soap was also small and cheap. Disturbing also was the sight of blond or light brown hair the shower wall. I cannot in good conscience recommend this property to any future guests and I will not return. On a scale of 1-5 (with 5 the highest) I would assign the score of 2 for this property.

Horrible smelling room. Smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Had burns in the blanket on the bed. A/C unit was nasty and also put off an odor. A lot of people hanging around the hotel and staying there that you don’t want your family around. Refrigerator didn’t work. Room and hotel were in rough shape. Looked a lot nicer in the pictures before I booked the room. Also close to airport planes came right over hotel low and loud.

First, the jacuzzi tub DID NOT work and they wouldn't switch us to a room that did. Second, they knocked on our door at 9 am. Check out is 11. The 3rd day, we were having issues with our card because someone had stolen it so due to the fraud, it's a hassle to transfer money and such. The lady at f.d. tells us 5 minutes. It's only 11:15 and not even 1 minute later she tells us we have to go and gets on the walkie and says "I don't know what games they're trying to play. They know they don't have any money." And our room was paid not even 20 minutes later. That was beyond rude and degrading.

Rundown,no smoking room that smelled like smoke..a/c don’t work properly..Burn holes in blankets/marijuana smell in parking lot is horrible..people loitering ..Do not feel safe but no refunds..

Picked this hotel because it had parking for car trailer. Bed was comfortable. Floor was dirty and maintenence person had to fix a running toilet. We had to go get clean towels everyday. We had to wait until 1030 one night to shower as they had none and had to wait for them to wash and dry them.

It was noisy right off I-10 and airplanes flying overhead.

This was my 2nd weekend staying at this location and both experiences were similar. I gave them a 2nd chance because the price was reasonable,the location is great, check in was super easy and quick, the parking lot is clean and well lit, and I felt safe staying there alone. Plus I felt like maybe it was an over-site on housekeeping on my first visit. We're all human and fall short sometimes, so I gave them a 2nd chance. After my 2nd weekend, I feel housekeeping is doing the bare minimum. The tub had strains of hair stuck to the walls, the base of the toilet was filthy, the bed looked like it was laid across after it had been made up, the floor was gritty, and the pillows had dust on them from rubbing against the headboard. And, I had to go to the front office to get towels when we got there, because there weren't any in the room. I had to wipe down and sanitize the room before I could relax on both visits. IF housekeeping is spruced up, I would stay again, but until then they are on my boycott list.

Toilet ran, light switch did not work, lamps were rusty and dirty, floor separated, chipped and dirty, pubic hair on toilet, smelled like mold, mold in shower, coffee bag still in pot, people having a party in the parking lot, Loud music….I should have went to a different hotel after I saw how terrible it was but unfortunately I stayed.
