DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Grand Key - Key West

It has been many years since I had been to Key West but I knew that I did not want to stay right on Duval Street. This hotel was just a quick 10 minute ride to Duval but perfectly located. It is tucked away and when you turn in, it’s like you’ve entered a tropical paradise. From the second, we entered the hotel we were greeted with a great hello and all the information that we would need for our stay. And the warm cookies were a great treat after a seven hour car ride from North Florida. Our room had a nice sized patio that overlook the pool, which was a great added touch to our stay. The room was very nice, nothing above the ordinary, but very comfortable. We did dine at the restaurant for breakfast. One day, we chose the buffet and it was good , we also use the complementary shuttle down to Duval, which was very convenient. This was my friend’s first time staying in Key West and they were very happy with their stay. We had a great time and I truly recommend this resort.

Hotel was excellent. I really have no complaints. Yes the room decor and furnishing need to be updated but according to other reviews they are suppose to be doing that later this year. That is just a matter of design as everything was clean and comfortable. Room was as expected per the website. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient to all of our activities and local restaurants. The hotel shuttle service was great. Pool was gorgeous. I had read other reviews regarding unclean and issues to the point I almost changed our reservations, I’m glad I did not. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We stay at this hotel every time we visit key west. Rooms can be cleaned a little better or updated but enjoyed my stay and even took the shuttle this time.

I wish the handicapped room Was avail since my mom has hard time walking. But it wasn’t. Also we were given a room with a balcony overlooking the parking lot. She would have much rather enjoyed one near the pool since she not very mobile at all. I voiced my concern and was still told nothing was available.. couldn’t be sure if it was due to the rate I was being refused. The room was clean and we stayed for one night only.

The property is dated and could use a refresh. Balcony room booked every time the balcony door was opened it messed up the AC and maintenance had to be called. This property has a restaurant but hours were not consistent daily and we had to order food from the pool bar, which only served food until 9 PM. Concierge staff Joe and Steve were wonderful and extremely helpful booking excursions and golf cart rental. Front desk staff were very welcoming upon check in. Property performed a generator test one of the days that we were there so there was no power for 4 hours from 9PM until 1 AM one of the nights of our stay. This property is a few miles away from the major tourist areas of the island so shuttle service was required togo to excursions and sight seeing.

Doubletree has a shuttle service running every hour up to 11:00pm to & from Duval St. Also has a shuttle service to & from airport.

The property was convenient ly located. The shuttle service made it easy to get around. The rooms and common areas were clean. The buffet breakfast could have been better.

The shuttle that goes every hour and takes you to downtown near mallory square. Very good to have..thanks

I did liked staying there for 1 night and the fact that hotel is offering a free shuttle service to downtown, however shuttle bus was too small for amount of people expected to board and the other aspect I didn't appreciate was large dogs barking in the middle of night and at the elevator:( Not a big deal of coarse and nice for dog owners travelling with their furry families, but some seemed to be careless and inconsiderate not securing their pets properly and riding alone with them at the elevator!
