Comfort Inn Medford North

It's Medford, so there is that. Getting to the hotel isn't as simple as it could be depending on which direction you're coming, but not bad. Easy parking on site. Super friendly staff, nice breakfast offered. Clean, relatively small, so a bit of a cozy atmosphere.

Had to make a last minute reservation, hotel said it had been remodeled. Some parts were definitely nicer than others. Breakfast area was nice. Fresh food was warm, like it should be. The gal that checked us in was super! She was very helpful and got me extra pillows the 2nd night (they were so squishy, it was hard to sleep with them the first night). I felt like she was working very hard with not much help. We enjoyed the hot tub for some relaxation before bed. The water temperature and room temp were hot. Like sweating just sitting there. Was thankful they end pool hours for kids 2 hours prior to adults. Fresh paint in the hall, not sure why they picked bright yellow accents when the rest is so calming. Has an elevator, has adequate parking. Great restaurant with lounge next door. Fountain feature was having an issue. Liked all the snack and drink choices in the lobby! Really convenient.

Easy to check in and check out. Even though it was close to the highway and airport, it was a lot more quiet than i had expected which was definitely a plus.

Property was clean and comfortable but the access to the hotel was a nightmare. We drove around in a circle two times before we stopped on a road outside the property and my wife went across a road and asked the desk clerk how to enter the property. It is the most ridiculous access I have ever seen. We were told to enter another hotel parking lot to get to the Comfort Inn. THERE WAS NO SIGNAGE! Also, serve a better breakfast. Microwave eggs, sausage SUCK!

Property was actually decent for an airport hotel. Restaurant and bar right next door, airport shuttle. I called prior to booking and was told we could park free for the 3 days we were gone. Went to pick up our car and was told it's $5 per day if you don't stay both ways. Person at desk didn't charge me but was obviously annoyed... not my fault if staff doesn't know hotel policy.

It's a little hard to find the road that leads to the hotel. You are looking at the hotel, but the road does not allow you to get to the parking lot.

Avoid this horrible run down hotel! Started with multiple police cars across the street since the gas station was robbed. Pulling into parking lot dodging homeless drug addicts. Did not feel safe leaving anything in car. Front desk gal was polite, efficient, professional .hotel is clearly run down. Carpet in hallways extremly dated, dirty-and smelled like mildew. Opened up door to room and was immediately overwhelmed by wet dog smell that is so potent you taste it. Riped carpet, baseboard areas torn( hopping bugs dont come out. Linen smelled musty too. Shower had black long hair in it. I found airfreshners that did not make a difference. Took one of my car airfreshners, placed it in front of air conditioner vents and this Febreeze fresh linen was only saving grace. Put all my luggage in bathroom as lighting was ineffective to truely inspect for bugs. Driven 18 hours, was nonrefundable the only reason i slept 5 hours in room. Kept lights on just in case. Fan in bathroom did not work. I did go down and told front desk gal about room smelling so bad. She offered a can on Airfreshner and informed me that there was not another room available as it was sold out (travelocity still showed available rooms). Breakfast was below my standards, fake-powdered egg mix, no sausage or bacon. Waffles were good. Had hard boiled eggs and yogurt z Coffee machine tasted like burnt coffee (did not drink past first sip off cringeworthy coffee)—. Would never stay here again.

Eye sore area/surroding, parking spaces too narrow, noticed carpet was a little dirty. Overall is okay.

Overall, Comfort Inn Medford was a good place to stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good. The pool too cold for comfort. Breakfast okay. The only hitch was a taxi (in place of shuttle) was ordered for 3:15 a.m. and I heard this confirmed but the taxi did not arrive. No others were available. Another guest took my grandson and myself to the airport. This worked out fine but could have been a real disaster.

So close to airport and didn’t hear any planes just road traffic. Full breakfast, nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed.
