I get anxieties when booking reservations for hotels due to previous bad experiences. It was my first time traveling to Midland and staying at the Comfort Suites. Once i walked into the lobby I was very impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness of the hotel. I had my fingers crossed that the room was going to be as nice as the lobby was. Thank you Comfort Suites for making my stay feel so relaxed.

Nice hotel and conveniently located for the Midland area. Overall safe area. Sushi restaurant outside the parking lot which is pretty good. HEB and Sam’s club with walking distance. Side door to hotel was broke and when I tried to enter with my belongings. Informed front desk staff and he could care less. Told him a sign would be helpful he just looked up at me. Stayed at over 2 dozen hotels in Midland and Odessa. This seemed like the most safe and had a pretty lit parking lot.

Traveling from N Texas to W Texas. Severe storm started moving in and needed a last minute place to stop for safety until the weather improved. It was convenient to food delivery, though a bit off highway I was traveling I will definitely stay again.

We travel to Midland once a month and stay in different suites in the area. This was my first time staying with comfort suites which was really nice. However, on my first night we did have an incident with the fire alarms going off in the hotel room. it was after midnight when we were showering because we had been working and traveling all day. The steam from the shower set off the smoke alarms. I started panicking and called the front desk. The girl said to open the door and let the steam out of the room, so we did that. Then The alarms went off again, and I kept trying to call the front desk, got a busy signal. The next thing I know, there is a knock at the door from the same girl who knew I was in distress over the alarms going off, also the same girl who told me to open the door and let the steam out. She came to the room and said we were being loud and needed to quiet down. I was super annoyed by that point, even while I was talking expressing my concerns about the alarms going off twice! She went on to say that I was speaking too loud! She should have gone there to make sure we were OK with the smoke detectors going off and apologizing for that inconvenience! It was really disturbing for us. I struggle with severe anxiety and Raynaud’s disease, therefore I need to take hot showers to help my circulation.
I don’t understand why there is not better ventilation in the restrooms, that according to this rude young girl, alarms have been set off by shower steam before.

If you’re looking to book any hotel with pool or hot tub, make sure to call to see if they’re working!..Booked 1night came from a 2 or more hour drive just in time to get to the hotel and get ready for the event we were traveling for.Arrived and by front register a sign said hot tub was out, then as I finished signing agreements front clerk notified us their was an “incident” in the pool so that was out as well.I let him know those were some of the main reasons I chose them and it would’ve been nice to know before. He offered us to travel at walking distance to sister hotel to be able to go to their pool etc, I agreed and decided well i guess it’s better then nothing. Then we leave with key card in hands and get most of our luggage down just to find out card key was not working at all.At this point I was completely frustrated, I let them know I was not accepting and deny staying there. It doesn’t end there obviously they didn’t want to accept cancellation and had a hard time, if it weren’t for my 3rd party being on the phone with them 2hours, I would’ve just left home and lost money…however we did lose time and most of our event which was more valuable !!!!

My family and I always look forward to the pillow top beds to sleep on, and we all had a really good night sleep from a long day of traveling. Also having many dining options at walking distance made it easier for a quick bit or a place to sit and enjoy. The only complaint we had was there were no towels by the pool.

The Comfort Inn is a nice place to stay after the long drive to Midland. It's a little tricky to find as it's stuck in an area with a couple of other hotels, restaurants, and a grocery store. Those things are also very convenient for travelers. The hotel was very clean and the desk staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast comes with your stay - it included: Waffles, eggs, sausages, bread, yogurts, fruit, juices, and other items. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

We recently stayed here for my daughter's soccer tournament, and we were happy with how clean the rooms and common areas were. The beds were super comfortable and the staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and the parking lot was well-lit at nighttime.

The hotel and staff were great but if you are staying here for the free airport shuttle, go somewhere else. I had a flight at 5:00 and they booked the shuttle to pick me up at 4:00 and it’s a 15 min drive to the airport. At 4:15 I got an Uber because the shuttle still hadn’t shown up and ended up missing my flight. DON’T USE THE SHUTTLE.
