Homewood Suites by Hilton Midland, TX

The only thing that seemed weird was the $7/day parking fee. I understand in big cities or big popular areas. Midland, not so much.

If you expect to get sleep here, make sure that YOU follow the procedure of the check in employee and don't let her skip giving ID and card for incidentals. If you do not you'll get calls well after you've finally got to sleep, multiple calls, over and over to ask you to bring a card down for incidentals and an ID. I have severe insomnia, it will take me another freaking hour to get back to sleep and I have to be up at 3am. Her excuse why this was acceptable???? I've been calling you all day you didn't answer. U.mm ma'am, most people don't hang in their hotels while traveling. And she did NOT try from 2pm to 8:29. My husband came here to sleep, no phone calls. My cell is also on file, nothing there either. And she didn't leave a message until 8:29pm call, I checked messages as soon as we got in at 2pm. I'm not getting out of bed to do her job. And I unplugged both phones. Not my fault your staff didn't do their job. And then tried to make it my fault bc I didn't answer a phone call that didn't come in "all day" Now it's 930pm and the dog next door has been yelping and crying for 30 min. Is front desk going to do anything? No, bc she's pissed I called out their negligent check in practice, and terrible customer service. After we checked out Sunday, two hours later the hotel charged the card i used to pay online $38. For incidentals deposit i guess. Yes you read that right, AFTER i checked out. 🙄 guess the employee really didnt want management to know.

The hotel was very good and my stay in Midland was good but there was a $14.84 charge on my card when asked they told me that it was for a parking fee! Ridiculous. They never mentioned a parking fee on booking or on checking in.

Traveler Beware!!! Stayed three nights, forgot my travel clothes in a drawer, i had $500, 5 $100 bills for emergency money, the staff returned the clothes but stole the money, the assistant manager told me to give them a few days to investigate the matter and that the General manager would contact me, that was on May 24th, I called several times and requested to talk to the GM, but she was always in a meeting, I gave up, after 5 or 6 attemps and have no alternative other than to warn ofher travelers, so you wont be a victim to their dishonest staff!
