The property was under construction, so there was understandably things torn up. However, there was strong odors in the hallways. The parking lot was very torn up. The rooms, however, were renovated and nice. The staff was very courteous and polite.

It was very close to the airport. Fortunately, the airport was within walking distance because no shuttle service was available even though this service was advertised as free. The motel was also within walking distance of a very good restaurant.

Convenient street walkers in the parking lot both at night time and morning. No bed bugs, secure doors. Enter the hallway-dirty carpets. Enter the room-not the beds we requested, strong smell of smoke. Enter the 24” bathroom door and the smell of smoke is so strong you can taste it. Noisy hallway until midnight. Breakfast attendant was friendly. Food was mediocre at best, no microwave, one coffee pot. We’ll never stay at any LaQuinta again, at any price.

Hotel property was under renovation which definitely was needed. After checking in at two in the afternoon pounding and construction on the second floor continued till 8 o’clock at night. I reported to the front desk after 5 o’clock that the noise was not acceptable. The hammering and pounding did not stop for hours after that. The neighborhood is very seedy lots of unsavory action in the parking lot. I requested a room on the second floor so that I could safely leave my my room darkening shades open despite all the disturbing parking lot activity, but was told because of renovation there weren’t any rooms. Worst of all I awakened at 2 AM to a what sounded like a violent screaming fight in the hallway where one man told the other to stand down and shut up or he would make him do it.I won’t quote any of the rest of the conversation which was loud and profane. The hallways were very dingy and poorly lit. The one bright spot was the actual room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom needed serious renovation. As a woman traveling alone, I would never rebook this property again.

Upon entering my room I discovered that the bathroom had not been cleaned as evidenced by human waste on the toilet seat. I went to the front desk to ask for a rag and disinfectant explaining why I needed them. The man at the desk didn’t blink an eye as he handed me cleaning supplies. As I began to clean the toilet I discovered old, dried urine all around the base of the toilet I hadn’t noticed before. And then hair in the corners of the bathroom floor. The black mold on the grout of the shower was just frosting on this disgusting cake. When I returned the cleaning supplies and explained that I chose not to get on my knees and clean the bottom of the toilet the man at the desk said “okay”. No apology, no offer to remedy the situation, no concern that a guest had just cleaned a previous guest’s mess. Needless to say I kept finding more evidence of previous guests’ stays but as I was just staying until my flight in the morning I decided to stick it out. The fact that someone decided to run the dryer next to my room, with what sounded like a bag of marbles, at 10:30pm is not the fault of the management but it only added more fuel to my resolve to never stay here again.

When I arrived at airport I tried to call the motel for a shuttle to the room I had booked. I spent 25 minutes in a recorded twilight zone trying to get to front desk. No matter what number I tried I kept getting a recording trying to get me to book a room that I didn’t need Even when I pushed the number for the front desk I got the booking recording. Thought I was going to have to take a Uber. Once I finally got through things went smoothly and driver and front desk were great.

We arrived fairly late, and we’re welcomed by a delightful man named Ronnie. Without me asking, He immediately tried to get us Wyndham points. which we can’t use when we go through Expedia. They’re obviously doing some renovation because all the floorboard trim was pulled off. I’m hoping that they’re tearing out that really old dingy carpet down the hallway. Outside in the dark it was a little weird with the parking because we had a U-Haul. But it all worked out fine. The beds in the room were extremely comfortable. The curtains actually closed. I mentioned the two things that bothered me to Ronnie at the front desk which were, no fan in the bathroom so it’s remained fogged up for about a half an hour, and that the lock on the door did not work . Ronnie wanted to know in order to fix it. It just reiterates how important having somebody greet you at the front who cares, understands, being exhausted when you arrive and accommodates you. The breakfast had premade omelettes which we reheated in our microwave. It was a lovely experience And I would return there.

No should have any business dealing with this hotel whatsoever. Customer service was worse than pathetic. When customers have to walk to the airport something is drastically wrong.
