The Axis Moline Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This hotel is exceptional! If you are traveling to the Davenport area I highly recommend staying here. Our room was immaculate, the bed and pillows are so comfortable that I am still thinking about them! The restaurant in the hotel, Fifth Avenue Syndicate, was amazing as well. Everything we ordered was delicious and the wine list was very impressive! I don’t typically leave reviews but this hotel deserves to be praised!

Good experience overall. Close to the amphitheater and parking is attached with breezeway. Be aware breakfast is not included. At least mine wasn’t and with the higher than normal price I thought it should be.

Free garage parking and very nice hotel. Bar was excellent for appetizers/drink. Rooms are spacious (esp bathroom!) and beds are comfy. Train runs by at 6:56 a.m., tho. And sadly, I booked thru Hotels.com who charged me a higher rate than room rate (including taxes/fees) shown on my receipt upon check-out. $26.difference. Not getting much help so will file a dispute w/my bank but maybe next time I will pay at hotel directly.

First time staying at this hotel and was impressed. The staff was wonderful, the room was amazing and dinner at restaurant within the hotel was delicious. If we ever travel to Moline again I will definitely be back to The Axis!

A very unique hotel. The lobby was open and inviting, with a well sticked bar attached. It was very convenient the the parking garage was attached to the hotel, complete with free parking for hotel guests. The building appeared to be an old converted office building, which added to the unique layout of the room. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was walking distance from many bars and cenues. Recommend booking this hotel!

For as much money as i paid to stay here, it was very disappointing. I used the stairs to get to my room because the elevator closest to where i was at were out of order. I walked up 6 flights of stairs with all of my stuff and the door to get on the 6th floor wouldn't open because the locks battery was dead. The breakfast buffet they had is not included in the room. The breakfast costs just as much as eating somewhere.

The hotel is beautiful, and for our purposes, conveniently located. The menu choices in the restaurant were affordable and very good. Parking is very convenient and it really didn't matter what the time of day we were able to find a parking spot that was close to the entrance. The elevator from the parking deck to the hotel lobby was out of service, but it was only 1 flight of stairs to walk down. While there were some positives, there were also disappointments. Check-in is designated as 3:00 p.m., however, we were there at 2 PM and our room was not ready and were asked to return closer to 3 PM. At 3:00 p.m. we returned only to be told our room was still not ready. They asked us for our phone number and they would call us. We waited right in the hotel lobby and saw some other guests check-in and get their room keys after us. We were never called and when we checked back with the reservation team at 3:20 p.m. we were finally given a different room. They appeared to be very unorganized. We have stayed at 3 other hotels in the area and never had an issue with check-in or having to come back and wait. The room is very nicely appointed and although the hotel is in an old building, the furnishings and decorations are very tastefully done. Aside from the issues with check-in, I would recommend this hotel as a possibility for someone to stay.

Even though its outside the tunnel to the parking garage on the 2nd floor was very dirty. The door handles to get in were greasy for some reason like it had vasoline or something on them? But overall the inside was very clean and beautifully maintained!

This was a quick business trip but Axis still made a great impression! I had a very early flight and even the airport hotels didn’t have early shuttles. I called Axis before I booked and they were very kind and assured me they’d get me to the airport early. I spoke with Lauren and she even remembered me when I checked in! I loved that they had a great little market so I could grab a snack and drink before heading to my room. Friendly staff, nice rooms, reliable shuttle…overall it’s a great spot!
