Overview

The Stoney Creek Hotel Quad Cities receives mixed reviews. While many guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the convenient location near restaurants and entertainment, there are also significant concerns. Several guests report issues with room cleanliness, maintenance (including broken whirlpools, malfunctioning air conditioning, and dripping faucets), and noise levels. The breakfast is described as inconsistent in quality, and some guests mention parking lot issues. Overall, the hotel's inconsistent experience and maintenance issues outweigh the positive aspects reported by some guests.

Unique, comfortable. Pool & Jacuzzi nice but pool cold and the entire room smelled very strongly of chlorine. Nice that it was actually a hot breakfast (not just continental as listed), but no meat. We were not affected, but were told 4 cars in the parking lot were broken into overnight (we saw 2 cars with at least one window with plastic taped over, being vacuumed out in the front driveway)

I'll start at the beginning. Checked in was just asking for my ID and saying the room is just down that hall. He didn't talk about any of the amenities. We were there 5 days, 4 nights and NEVER got our room cleaned. We had to go down for more towels. Breakfast was so so, coffee was horrible. Rooms only had blinds, no curtains and very bright at 5am. The kicker was on Wednesday morning when a construction crew started working on the parking lot before 8am and woke us. Beware the train is right there and runs in the middle of the night.

Staff was great and the hotel was a pleasant surprise! Only complaint was the parking lot under construction making getting into and out of the property a bit of a challenge. We'll definitely stay there again on future visits.

I am so disappointed. I have stayed at other Stoney Creek locations This one however omg do not stay here. From the open holes in the parking lot. To the dirty sheets. Oh and the breakfast is less than edible my door on my room#221 didnt really even need a key card as i think its been broken into before. Atleast my ac worked. I witnessed many people at the front desk complaing that theirs didnt. They were offered a fan but 90 dehree air doesnt cool with a fan. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T STAY HERE

Staff was friendly and we really enjoyed our stay! One small thing, we were traveling across time zones and would like to see black-out cutains to help with sleeping in.

We booked the Extended King with Whirlpool and got to the room just to find that the Whirlpool is broken. The amount of noise outside the hotel in the parking lot at 1, 2 and 3am was beyond loud and obnoxious. The light fixture in the center of the room sounded like a dinging bell everytime the people in the room above us were walking around or their child was running back and forth for an hour starting at 6:45am. The air conditioner in the room wasn't working correctly either. I ran the air all the way down to 62 and the room just never cooled off.

Overbooked when we showed up. Called us as we were pulling in parking lot. Sent us 15 mins away. Made us late for our concert.
