Kompose Boutique Hotel

This is a lovely boutique hotel close to the airport. My only complaint is I asked for a room with no fragrances because of asthma and there was definitely some kind of air freshener or spray used which is very irritating to the respiratory system.

This was a really enjoyable stay for me. All of the staff were great, the breakfast options are reasonable, and the bartender Devin is amazing (she's made some great cocktail mixes available when the bar is open). The format of the rooms are a little unusual with the shower/toilet/sink placement but it still looks really nice and everything was super clean. The pool and hot tub areas are nice and relaxing. There's even some game things that can be played for groups or those with kids (ping pong and corn hole toss). The hotel is closeby the airport, the Ringling museums (yes, those Ringlings), the downtown area and the beach are not far away, and there are many options for great places to eat nearby. The only time I had an issue was trying to get my very old laptop onto the wifi and thats only because it would not go to the correct website to sign in and the lady at the front desk was not aware of the address for the login since it was supposed to be automated. Other than that, everything was smooth from check-in to check-out.

Everyone I interacted with was really friendly and helpful. The room was roomy, clean and comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable. It was really quiet despite being next to the airport. Devin the bartender was great company and gave good advice on shopping and local activities.

Great place! Main cmplain is elevators, only two for the entire building, they need atlast twice that. First day, they were very slow and shaky. Next day, they were completely broken, everyone had to use stairs, and i was on the top floor, hauling luggage down 5 flights. Elevators are not a luxory, they are a necessity, and these were really bad and broken. All else was great! Nice place, terrific staff, clean and quiet, with decent air conditoning.

Fun, modern, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, front desk baristas and bar, all our needs were met. Ample parking. Staff were very welcoming. Loved the pop up gourmet restaurant!

Kompose is conveniently located for us and is in a safe area. The property is always very clean and in good repair (although during this stay, the one elevator was out of service). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast typical. The pool, hot tub and fitness center are nice to use. We had a VIP (points) from the travel aggregator we used to book. It seems w/o VIP, you must pay to use the gym & pool and to have breakfast included. If those were extra $ for our stay, I would not return. This being said, we did enjoy our stay. Best of all, the staff is extremely courteous and customer focused.

This hotel has what you need for stay in Sarasota, good price, 10 minutes from the beach, clean areas, clean room, good breakfast, good gym and free parking. I recommend 100%
