A lot of people hanging around parking lot side doors need no key card anyone can walk in . We were there 4 days pool was dirty and the smell of weed is everywhere on property. Spend a little more and go elsewhere.

This hotel is horrible! I travel a lot for soccer tournaments and games and this is by far the worst rundown hotel I have been in. AC was loud, TV didn’t work, floors were gross. We had to wear socks because they were greasy and slippery. Shower was dingy and linked water while showering. Breakfast selection was slim. The lamps in between the beds had no lamp shade while the lamp on the desk’s shade was rusting and stained. The desk chair has white paint all o we it. The sitting chair had stains all over it also. Key cards for the door worked half the time. Took a minimum of 5 swipes to get it to work. Staff didn’t speak to you as you entered or left the hotel. Room smelled musty and like a locker room. I used an entire can of Lysol spray in the room to make it remotely tolerable. I now am having sinus issues since I left the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very unsafe outside of the building in the parking area. Dangerous people hanging out around the cars at night. I was very nervous about parking my expensive vehicle in the parking lot. There were people looking inside of windows of cars. I witnessed one man urinate on the building I was afraid they were going to possibly break into my vehicle, more than one who were guests asked them to call the police and nothing was done. They should have their own security in this area.

People were using drugs in the hallway and parking lot. Doors didn't lock, trash all over property, bathrooms had mold, room was VERY dirty. Room didn't look like it had ever been cleaned, trash cans were full when we went in. Hotel staff was very rude and indifferent to everything. Offered nothing but sarcastic remarks. We wound up leaving after the first night due to safety concerns. Horrible experience and waste of money!

I’m in a sleep inn hotel in Sarasota Florida room 100 and notified the front desk that the toilet wouldn’t flush. He had no concern and just told me maintenance won’t be in until 9 am. I was like I check out tomorrow and I was like what am I going to do about this toilet that’s not right. He said I don’t know what to tell you and hung up. That’s not right and not sanitary at all. The parking lot is empty so I’m quite sure it’s another room I could have been moved too. My name is Frankie Randall and phone number is (941)704-1762.

Overall it was fine, but the biggest issues were the noisy people in the hotel and the rampant raccoon problem. During all times of the day people could be heard talking, playing music, laughing loudly and it was hard to decipher if it was just other guests or if it was also the staff or loiterers or all 3. The noise level did NOT decrease at night. There were several loiterers outside the doors and across from the main doors as well. One loiterer was helpful in warning us about the raccoons that were “the size of the children”. She told us to make sure we made loud noise as we approached the car because they could be hiding underneath or around it and she was RIGHT. There was a whole family of them and they seemed to own the entire parking lot at night. YUCK. They had no fear. There was also a bug in one of the beds and we’re pretty sure we got bitten by something in there. Some positives were that check in and check out were easy.. that’s all I got. We didn’t make it to breakfast, so we can’t speak on that, but there was free coffee outside the breakfast room which was nice.

This property was probably never renovated since 1980s. Very dirty and dusty carpet. The room smelled like mold and was very humid and warm despite air conditioner. Door lock was not working. We were reassured that manager changed a battery. The new key worked only once and again stopped working. The breakfast was consistent of waffles, 2 kinds of dry cereal, yogurt, milk, coffee and juice. Swimming pool was filled with leaves. Luckily we only stayed one night. The proximity to airport is the only good thing. I would not recommend stay in there even for 1 night. If you are allergic to dust or mold you would not be able to sleep.

When we got to the hotel, the front door was inoperable, so one side was left open (it was 96 and oppressively humid). The room key we received took 3 attempts by the desk clerk until it finally worked. The room itself was horrible , to say the least. It had a terrible musty odor that my wife described as if it was cleaned with overutilized Pinesol. One of the bed comforters looked like it had been chewed by rodents and smelled extremely musty like it was left in the washer too long. It ended up on the floor to say the least. The window overlooking the pool was stuck open, and looked like it had been for some time. When my wife went down to the front desk, all they could do was hand her a can of Febreze. Thank goodness we were just spending the night for an early morning flight home!
