Stop over on our way to Custer SD.
Room was noisy at night heard all the traffic.
Went to the bar for a few cocktails and were swarmed by fruit flys.
Breakfast was very good, omelet was made to perfection.

Great location for walking downtown. Easy access to the airport. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant "Verde" was excellent.

Good location for walking to downtown. Free parking.
Free coffee in the lobby in the morning
Our room did have a small balcony which we didn’t expect, too cold to be out but a nice surprise
Trainees working the bar so service a little slow but nice people
Our room did have an odd smell, faint but noticeable

Hotel was close to weekend venue and was convenient for walking distance. Plenty of parking spots on property which was nice.

This hotel is located centrally in Sioux Falls and was nicer than some other more expensive hotels in the same area. I know, because I stayed in one other. I liked their bar area and had a good time there, where I had a delicious pizza with my beer. The check in person was very nice and she quickly sent a shuttle van to the airport when I called from the airport, which is very close by.

Very clean hotel. We had a large one bedroom king suite. It was extremely spacious! The master bath could use some updating, but overall the rooms were very nice. Excellent restaurant and bar downstairs. The food and drinks were delicious and priced very well. Convenient downtown location. You can walk virtually anywhere in the downtown vicinity. We will 100% stay here again if traveling to Sioux Falls.

Really disappointed. I reserved a suite, upon being told all the suites are by the elevators. I was offered another room. It was a standard king room. The air conditioner was very loud, the refrigerator had food from a prior guest. The bathroom has damage to the tub and the ceiling is so low I could not brush my hair without hitting it, could hardly fit it the shower. The parking situation is ridiculous. Definitely did not get my monies worth and will not be staying here again.

Everyone loves a parade, unless you’re really tired and the hotel is blocked on all sides by grumpy policemen. The Parade of Lights happens one day a year, the day I was staying at the Holiday Inn. Half of Sioux Falls was lining the parade route which went up one side of the hotel, and the police had everything else blocked off. Officer Grumpy was no help at all giving me directions on how to get into the parking lot so I called the front desk. They gave me directions that included cutting threw the library parking lot across the street.
For the price, I felt it was a good hotel. I stayed at it again a couple months later. (Both times it was the “MYSTRY” 3-star hotel at 63% off). The second time I was given a room with a metal adjoining door. The door was perfectly engineered for transmitting the sound’s of a crying baby at 6:30 in the morning. It’s OK though, I’m sure my snoring kept the people up all night on the other side of the door.
The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small, but clean. There’s a bar (thank God) and a restaurant I never ate at. It has a pool and free parking. It’s centrally located, but that isn’t a big deal in Sioux Falls where you could throw a stone from one side of town to the other. I’d stay there again, I just would just make sure I didn’t have the adjoining room metal door option and that it wasn’t the night of the Parade of Lights.

Central location, easy Airport shuttle.
Internet in rooms was very slow. Need more bandwidth.
