Oaks Glenelg Plaza Pier Suites

View was fantastic and a great location so you could walk everywhere. However the rooms were below par in regards to needing some maintenance. Broken fly wire screen, broken draws, worn furniture, chipped paint, running toilet. Definitely in need of some upgrading in these areas. Other than that we had a great weekend away.

Generally, an excellent facility with good customer service. We used pool and gym and they were good. In-room facilities included washer/dryer which was easy to use. Car parking is unallocated and not secure. It is basement parking but open to the beach and any salt spray during stormy weather. The bathroom of our room is in need of repair and upgrade. Bottoms of both doors are heavily water damaged, the bath (no separate shower) shows rust in the bottom and is curved so no level space to stand for shower, the fixed glass pane as a shower screen barely 400m which is grossly inadequate. The basin is cracked and the cover behind the ancient mixer tap is also cracked in several places. Will recommend, but parking at $28/night is a little high.

Nice property, with great location - absolutely beachfront. We stayed in a premier ocean room which have lovely ocean views. Location is also quite close to the main dining strip at Glenelg. Room was functional if not necessarily the most spacious. Convenient parking and front staff was quite helpful and there are beach toys that you can borrow from the front desk as well. Overall good choice for a stay at Glenelg

My partner and I had a lovely beach getaway here in December 2023! The rooms are spacious, clean, safe, and comes with everything you could need ready for you in your room. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, local shops, restaurants, a grocery store if you’ll be doing some cooking in your room, and even to the tram and busses to traveling throughout Adelaide. Our only complaints are the early check out time, and the shower was without a closure and made for a messy bathroom and leaky floor. We enjoyed both of the attached restaurants but as two vegans, who picked one for their labeled vegan options, the staff weren’t very educated on the menu in terms of dietary needs and allergies. Our questions of “is this made with butter” or “does this contain dairy” were met with confusion. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and we highly recommend the property!

Property was amazing and the view of ocean from the room was breathtaking, room had all the facilities....only request to atleast have some water bottles available for the customers, instead someone has to come check in and then ho down to the market to buy water.....rest all was fantastic....free parking would be good for customers already paying so much for the room...had to pay extra $28 for the parking...which not much but still inconvinient.....

My QLD Family travelled to Adelaide to see my Adelaide Family before my Fathers Funeral on Wednesday in Hervey Bay, a fabulous time was had by all. Thank you. 😀

Great place to stay overlooking the beach. Apartment was great. Really nice place to be. Not so sure about having to pay $22 a day parking. Given room tarrifs parking should be complimentary. Other than that, a top place

The underground parking helps to ensure that our car is off the street. Onsite dining is convenient and accessible. Personalisation has been lost, e.g. no biscuits to have with a coffee. No alarm clock, and basic written information about room service etc.,

Nice hotel on the beach in Glenelg. Big room, clean, quiet, comfortable bed and big tv. Nice pool and gym. Walking distance to cafes, bars, restaurants and beach. 10 minute drive to airport. Wrong information in guest services given out and when pointed out to reception wrong, stated we know it needs to be changed. Why give out wrong information? Overall would stay here again

The view was amazing. It’s in a very convenient location to get to the beach and a variety of choices for fantastic restaurants. Close to the airport for early flights. I can wait to stay again!
