Bohemia Resort Cairns

Very small rooms. Didn’t like lots of stairs. Only for one night before flying.

This hotel is close to the airport (8km) and after staying out of Cairns for a holiday it was a good place for a sleepover before an early morning flight. My room wasn't aircondioned and was hot, but the fan worked well Shower was good.

Staff were very helpful with a late check in. Limited parking sadly

We were only in Cairns overnight due to a flight cancellation and this property was perfect. Close to airport and great choice of food options nearby.

Unfortunately had an extremely unpleasant experience. My primary concerns were related to safety and the lack of sleep caused by disruptive guests. Upon arrival, I had high expectations for a peaceful stay. However, these expectations were shattered when I was repeatedly disturbed by other guests coming home loudly at all hours of the night. The most alarming incident occurred around 1:00am when I was abruptly awakened by a heated argument right outside my room. This incident left me feeling scared and anxious about my personal safety. To add to my discomfort, at 4:30am, as I was preparing to leave for the airport, I witnessed an individual jumping off the roof of a building opposite the reception area. This only intensified my feelings of unease and made me anxious about walking outside to catch my taxi. It is essential for any resort to prioritize the safety and well-being of their guests, as a peaceful environment and a good night's sleep are basic expectations for a pleasant stay. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the lack of security measures and the management's inability to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. I strongly believe that safety and a tranquil environment should be paramount in resort operations. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary measures to prevent such incidents in the future for other guest .

Convenient to airport, bed reasonably comfy.

Receptionist was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me with an airport parking problem. For the price in the packed city of Cairns at the time, it was a bargain.

Room itself is fine for the price. We back the property at night but no more parking space inside.

It is convenient for my situation with Qantas constantly changing my flights. Cheap and great for what I need for 8 hours
