Inconvenient to check in if you arrive after 5PM - in our case, they forgot to email the access code to get room key beforehand. Ants are everywhere in the room. No housekeeping. $20 charge if you don't wash your cups in the room 10-minute to DRW city and airport by car They provided storage for our bigger luggages since we stayed there 2 times and went somewhere else in between

We stayed twice at this property - for 4D3N and we checked out to go to Kakadu National Park for 3D2N and came back to Darwin Resort for 2D1N - they provided storage for our bigger luggages between the stays. The property was nice - most of the rooms were on individual buildings, so it provided privacy, 'chalet-like' stay. However the rooms were crawling with small ants - in the bathroom, even on the beds. Front desk closed at 5PM (or 2PM on Sunday/ public holidays) - they didn't email us the code to the box to get our room key as promised (we have informed them that we would be arriving around 7pm on the 1st stay). Had to call the sister-hotel in the city and fill up some form before they emailed us the code. There was no housekeeping service, there's a notice put in the room that $20 charge will be imposed with we did not clean our cups/ plates. 10-minutes to airport and DRW city. And OK place if you're on a budget but there's no 'resort' to it

Lovely little compact unit. High tech security and comfortable. Great layover for travelers as close to airport. Ease to contact after hours staff.

It is good for overnight stays value is up and down depending on time of year. The room smelt of someone had been smoking in room or outside with the door open. No hot water. Squashed bug marks on walls . No spare pillows. With a bit of gardens and water around would be nice . The parking bays need to be wider

As a female solo traveler I felt unsafe and scared. I can not believe Hotels com advertise this type of accomodation. Locals people drunk walking around, noisy, room looking extremely tired, old, needed a good clean.the area, grounds, didn't feel safe. Extremely disappointed

There were no lights to see where to go when I arrived late. There was an old sign with a different resort name in it confusing me. The girl at reception was not helpful. Richard the manager and Frank were helpful. The switch was broken so light in bathroom didn’t work so couldn’t have a shower after a long trip. Milk in fridge was off. Instructions to give the taxi driver could have saved me carting 30kg of luggage 500m.

Booked this place during peak season for work trip. Got a decently sized room with aircon and fridge. Clean bathroom and parking onsite. However there were tiny little ants or bugs that I found find on my bed or in the bathroom. In the mornings I would find red bites that were itchy. Only had a couple but its enough to warranty concern for others. Still overall a decent stay

Worst experience from hell! We asked for downstairs room due to bad knees not able to get up/ down stairs, ended upstairs. Late check in as office shut at 6pm phoned number on door display and was told how to get key, and too late for room change. Had to take bags up and down stairs, hurt back doing it. Blinds broken on window near door, people looking in early in morning while asleep seeing in. Air con leaking water bad, was all over floor in morning. Bed comfortable enough for a sleep, lucky was only one night. Very noisy area in morning as very close to airport, RAAF jets taking off bad early on military exercises. Limited parking at front due to tradies, interstate workers staying downstairs, parked heaps away from area. Shower good pressure and hot water, looked a new small heater above shower area.

Basic cabin but done needs of only one night. Under flight paths of planes and helicopters especially in afternoon/evening was noisy. Room not ready to later, arrived early by a hour for 2pm check in and informed not ready to come back at 2pm. Arrived back at about 2.25pm and still not available, eventually allocated another cabin after 10 minutes. Bed extremely hard. Was only for one night so put up with it. Found spiders inside cabin, no issues after killing them. Adequate shower and toilet area, was clean and worked good. External light for verandah seating area didn’t work. Was quiet during night, in area where not many people staying. Used drop off box for keys at early departure.
