Crowne Plaza Moncton-Downtown, an IHG Hotel

I’ve never met a nicer manager than Janine. She responded to my online complaint about asking for a room with a view promptly and rectified the situation. She was also genuinely nice and not condescending. Will recommend CP to my family and friends and the FB travel groups I’m in.

This was a quick stay that we needed as we were travelling to Nova Scotia via Moncton. The plus side is because it’s pet friendly, our two large Siberian huskies enjoyed the stay just as much as we enjoyed the stay.

Kevin was great - made our checkin easy and included parking in our stay! The room was updated, clean and spacious. Definitely recommend!

The hotel parking was full - even though we paid for it. Then we had to walk around hotel as it is under construction. Picked a hotel with pool/hot tub so we could swim. It was full of kids. Kids running halls all hours. Staff said to let them know if we hear it but no one wants to get up and call staff at every thirty min. We told the people running halls etc we were trying to sleep. It did not cease. Expedia / hotel had double dipped on my pre- authorization payment so my credit card didn’t work at the mall. The breakfast we went to one morning, the second morning we didn’t as we wanted to try something else and the hotel tried to charge us extra - said we had more people eating breakfast from our room but it was only two of us on trip!! Overall just bad. Would not go back and I’m an IHG rewards member.

Stayed here for the evening after the hockey game which the rink is literally across the road. Less than 5 minutes after game was completed we were back in our room, no traffic/parking to deal with.

Room was great however, its not a very accessible hotel.the 1 wheelchair friendly entrace is on the far side of the building from the parking area. A lot of things were out of order during our stay as well, such as 2 of the 3 elevators, the hot tub and steam room

My only issue is no parking due to a concert

Staff were exceptionally helpful. We booked this room at the last second - so ended up with a very large but strange room with a tiny window (so almost no natural light). There was also an adjoining door & we could hear the guests in there. I wish they had free parking - the lot seemed a little unsafe. The hotel itself was lovely, I think we just ended up with the runt of the litter so to speak.

Clean room but small. Very expensive for what you get. Must pay for parking

Always a cozy stay at the Crowne Plaza! Lots of parking, pretty hotel and very helpful staff.
