Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport

The artwork on the building gives it a distinctive and unique appearance. However, despite the hotel being only three years old, it already looks quite worn. When we arrived, two people were smoking near the front entrance, despite the signs prohibiting it, and the area didn’t look very appealing. I was also concerned about the safety of my car in the parking lot. The check-in process at the front desk took longer than expected, and the staff were somewhat brusque. The room itself was large but felt empty due to its odd layout; the walls were chipped and scuffed. The bathroom had a peculiar design, though it was clean, which was my primary concern. For the price I would probably not recommend the place or consider it again.

It is a clean, quite, efficient hotel for next day air travel purposes.

Tight parking space

In the evening there was a security guard in the parking lot. That made me wonder why there is a security guard. I grew up in Winnipeg; unfortunately there seems to be more people struggling with homelessness, addictions and violence. Nothing happened, you just need to be aware and alert. The hotel itself is new, clean and safe. I loved all the Indigenous art and signage. The staff were lovely and kind.

Wish there was a shuttle service

My stay was only for a night, but it was excellent. The hotel is pretty new and the room was very spacious. I was driving so the hotel parking was a plus and it was very convenient to access the city. I had a little problem in my room - I’m scent sensitive, but the hotel manager did everything he could to address the problem and to make sure my stay was perfect. Huge shoutout to the manager and the team, everyone was very kind and it’s definitely something rare to find these days. Would definitely stay in the hotel again.

Lots of free parking

* Hours of the restaurant were limited in the evening and easy access to other dining or food venues are very limited, so this was very inconvenient. * No hotel shuttle to/from airport. Also very inconvenient and surprising for a city the size of Winnipeg. * No convenience items (toiletries) and limited confections available at hotel.

Beautiful, fresh, clean hotel. Very close to airport but quite inconvenient to other activities. Area a bit sketchy at night, few streetlights. But, again a fresh new hotel and close to airport with free parking.

Close to Polo Park and the airport. Staff were very friendly.
