The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

The hotel is second to none on the island. The food, the beach, the amenities are amazing. We have stayed there 5 times and this is the only hotel we stay when traveling to Grand Cayman.

Beach location was hands down the best. Taxis were pretty expensive, but easy to come by, drivers were friendly, and informative. Wish they had shuttles to the more frequented attractions, but understand how that is complicated.

Hotel lobby area is nice. Rooms are on the small side. I traveled with my husband and 2 kids (10&6). Our room had two double beds and it’s a snug fit for 2 adults. I asked for a king bed with a pull out sofa but the hotel refused me stating that 4 people had to be in a double bed room. The bathroom was also very small and no fan. There’s only 1 pool and a few restaurants that are ok. My go to was the coffee shop. The beach was the best part for us. No seaweed and plenty of chairs/umbrellas.

We loved the staff as they were so friendly and professional. We were not as enthused with the lack of choice for restaurants inside the hotel. I feel like there could be more of an effort to keep the birds from flying around while you are eating and I understand about the fly situation, however, we sat outside when we went off property and it did not seem to be as bad. In summary it was a very pleasant stay and we enjoyed our time in the Grand Cayman.

I always love my stays at the Westin. Amazing hotel, staff, facilities and views (WOW on the views and the beach). I would highly recommend The Westin to anyone traveling to Cayman. The people of Cayman are also incredibly welcoming and amazing hosts to many who come for business or pleasure. That gracious warmth of welcome is also a hallmark of The Westin.

I've traveled around the Caribbean since the early 1980s and I must say that my stay at the Westin was among the best. The staff are very professional and exceptionally courteous and friendly. The room, the furnishings, the bathrooms, the towels, rather the entire compound is super clean. The food is very good wherever you eat, at the restaurants, by the pool or on the beach and so are the drinks and lots of fun water sports too. In short, it's a place where enjoy your stay. Everyone whom we met at the Westin, my wife and I, deserves special mention for making our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. One last point is the beach. It's a swimmer's dream. Really. One of the most beautiful beaches that I've seen, and I've seen many, many beaches. We will go back!

Staying at the Westin definitely was a wonderful experience for our girls trip! The lobby into the pool and beach area is gorgeous. The rooms are very basic in design, but it was kept very clean so that wasn’t too big of a deal for us. The customer service was really what made this stay as amazing as it was. All of the doormen and waitstaff were helpful, respectful, and enthusiastic to assist. With a special thank you to Kirk and Sean! The location is super convenient with access to a whole array of dining areas along the Seven Mile strip. The taxi service is very convenient which helped a lot, I would say that it is pricey for anyone paying with US money as the currency is less, but still was worth it to us. The food was pretty good, I would definitely suggest to explore outside of the hotel as there are more options for a more reasonable price. Thank you for having us!!
