IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport

I just needed one nights accomodation to catch an early morning flight. The shuttle bus was good and easy to find. The bar with food late at night is also a good service.

Convenient and close to the airport with a restaurant and a Ju-52 themed bar. A short 10 minute walk from the hotel is the 1948-49 Frankfurt Berlin airbridge historical park, complete with a couple of the planes involved in the airlift. Next to it is a purpose built viewing area where you can watch the flights arriving and departing from the airport. The hotel has a payable shuttle bus to the airport, however, you can also take the frequent public service bus that stop in front of the hotel.

Excellent airport stay but have to pay 10 euro per person for bus and we were 4 people. Uber cost us 15 euro and Bolt was only 6 euro next day. Uber cannot pick up but only drop off. Fridge in rooms and clean rooms and tea and coffee. Family room was big with connecting entry way joined two separate hotel rooms.

Cheap and cheerful. Mostly an efficient stop for airline crew. Terrible wifi. Clean and close to the airport.

Our family spend the night before heading to the airport. The hotels location was wonderful and quiet. Although we didn't take advantage of the breakfast or lounge amenities, we were comfortable.

Stayed there 3 times within 3 weeks, very good for an airport hotel. Great friendly staff.

We arrived quite late and stayed 1 night before catching a plane early morning. It was comfortable for the short usage we did, our room had 3 beds and was clean. In case of a similar travel journey, we will probably pick Intercity again.

As a traveling family with kids resting for one night, we had to get 2 rooms due to their limit on the number of guests per room. They gave us rooms far from one another saying there aren't any more connected rooms??? When we got to the rooms, they were really far apart. I spoke to the same lady and she got us a room 2 doors down??? The shower didn't have any soap or shampoo. Their parking lot is far away and charges €4.50 per hour and supposedly €25 max per day. However, each time you go in and out, you have to pay separately. I ended up paying €34. They said the parking is by a third party and they have no control??? As you walk into the entrance, we had difficult time breathing due to people smoking cigarettes and drinking at the outside bar next to the entrance.

Hotel staff fruendly enough. The family room was actually two rooms, perfect for our family of 4. The location felt isolated, though it is very close to the airport and nearest bus stop. The restaurant has limited options (didnt eat there so cant say how the food was). The bartender was not friendly to us at all and he seemed angry that we were even there. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Overall would recommend especially if you dont have picky eaters.

Hotel not near airport. Told us breakfst was 20, charged us 23 next day. Misleading location. No shuttle to airport. Inconvenient. Better stay close to the city.
